Abstract
La riqueza lingüística de un escritor se manifiesta en los recursos estilísticos que utiliza para definir a los personajes que intervienen en sus obras. El presente trabajo tiene por objeto estudiar el empleo de las paremias con carácter popular (refranes, frases proverbiales, dialogismos y frases proverbiales) en un texto literario contemporáneo, mediante la aplicación de una metodología que tiene en cuenta la compleja naturaleza de estos enunciados breves y sentenciosos.
El texto literario elegido es la comedia El faro, de Rafael Negrete-Portillo, no solo por su actualidad al estar publicado en 2025, sino también porque ha recibido el Premio Internacional Antonio Machado 2025, otorgado por la Fundación Antonio Machado de Collioure. Los resultados obtenidos permitirán comprobar, por un lado, la validez de la metodología aplicada y, por otro, si el recurso a las paremias ha contribuido a la creación de una oralidad fingida.
Abstract: The linguistic richness of a writer is manifested in the stylistic resources he uses to define the characters that intervene in his writings. The aim of this paper is to study the use of popular paremias (proverbs, proverbial phrases, dialogisms and proverbial phrases) in a contemporary literary text. For this purpose, a methodology a methodology es applied, which takes into account the complex nature of these short and sententious statements. The literary text chosen is the comedy El faro [The lighthouse], by Rafael Negrete-Portillo, not only because of its contemporary relevance, being published in 2025, but also because it has received the Antonio Machado 2025 International Prize, awarded by the Antonio Machado Foundation in Collioure. The results obtained will make it possible to verify, on the one hand, the validity of the methodology applied and, on the other, whether the use of paremias has contributed to the creation of a feigned orality.
