- PublicationOpen AccessAnálisis paremiológico de la comedia El faro de Rafael Negrete-Portillo.(Universidad de Murcia, Servicio de Publicaciones., 2026) Sevilla Muñoz, Julia; Sin departamento asociadoLa riqueza lingüística de un escritor se manifiesta en los recursos estilísticos que utiliza para definir a los personajes que intervienen en sus obras. El presente trabajo tiene por objeto estudiar el empleo de las paremias con carácter popular (refranes, frases proverbiales, dialogismos y frases proverbiales) en un texto literario contemporáneo, mediante la aplicación de una metodología que tiene en cuenta la compleja naturaleza de estos enunciados breves y sentenciosos. El texto literario elegido es la comedia El faro, de Rafael Negrete-Portillo, no solo por su actualidad al estar publicado en 2025, sino también porque ha recibido el Premio Internacional Antonio Machado 2025, otorgado por la Fundación Antonio Machado de Collioure. Los resultados obtenidos permitirán comprobar, por un lado, la validez de la metodología aplicada y, por otro, si el recurso a las paremias ha contribuido a la creación de una oralidad fingida.
- PublicationOpen AccessBreve recorrido diacrónico de las paremias del lema pan.(Universidad de Murcia, EDITUM, 2021) Szymański, JakubEl presente estudio constituye una aproximación al recorrido diacrónico de las paremias del lema pan, cuya fuente es el Refranero multilingüe, publicado en la página del Instituto Cervantes (Sevilla Muñoz y Zurdo Ruiz-Ayúcar, 2009). En total, se han extraído 31 paremias, 29 del lema pan y 2 del hipónimo del pan, hogaza. El objetivo principal de la investigación ha sido comprobar la existencia de las paremias seleccionadas tanto en las obras literarias cumbre de la Edad Media y del Siglo de Oro como en los repertorios paremiológicos (principalmente los refraneros) y esbozar posteriormente unas especies de ejes del tiempo a través de los siglos. Después de una meticulosa revisión de las obras consultadas, recurrimos a su vez a los bancos de datos ‒CORDE, CREA, PRESEEA‒ para complementar el análisis y trazar el recorrido de las paremias hasta nuestra época. De este modo, es posible averiguar desde cuándo se registra la paremia en la lengua española y si su uso está vigente hasta la contemporaneidad. Tras el análisis, las paremias han sido divididas en cinco subgrupos a base del tipo de recorrido diacrónico que presentan a lo largo de su historia. Por último, partiendo del concepto de marcador de uso del Refranero multilingüe, contrastamos también los datos registrados en cada ficha con el análisis de la presencia de las paremias seleccionadas.

This disci- pline was created in the 20 th century and established in the 21 st century, which distinguishes the French and Spanish paremiography from the paremiography observed in the Middle Ages. After selecting a repertoire of French paremias, which will serve as the base of the present work, we will study the relationship between paremiology and terminology, between theory and practice of translation. This study will show the values of the paremias and therefore the utility of the paremiological research to deepen in the knowledge of the language and the culture of a country.

Nuestro propósito es mostrar, a través de los prólogos y estudios críticos a las obras tratadas en este estudio , los métodos compiladores empleados por los colectores españoles a la hora de recoger los enunciados sentenciosos, su utilidad, s u carácter, su valor y prestigio a lo largo del tiempo. Asimismo, hemos hecho hincapié, desde una perspectiva paremiológica, a todas aquellas obras que contribuyeron a trazar los aspectos peculiares de las paremias, en particular, el refrán: definición, ti pología, función, uso y características lingüísticas peculiares
- PublicationOpen AccessThe process of phraseological translation(Centro Virtual Cervantes, 2019) Sevilla Muñoz, Manuel; Traducción e InterpretaciónThe translation of texts using PUs represents a challenge that has been studied over the years from different points of view. This is a review of the research carried out over the last two decades in relation to the different stages of the phraseological translation process, taking as a starting point the general framework for this type of translation proposed by Gloria Corpas in 2003. This framework is divided in three stages: identification of the PUs in the source text, interpretation of the identified PUs and the establishment of equivalents in the target language, first at the lexical level and then at the textual level. Then, there will be an overall analysis of the contributions of numerous Spanish authors on specific aspects of each of the process stages and on the necessary phraseographic and paremiographic works to reach the correspondences in the target language of the PUs inserted in the original text.
- PublicationOpen AccessLas TIC y la adquisición de la competencia paremiológica en aprendientes de traducción e interpretación(Univerzita Palackého v Olomouci, 2024-06-01) Sevilla Muñoz, Manuel; Traducción e InterpretaciónThe presence of phraseological units (PUs) in a text means a higher level of difficulty during the translation process. For this reason, it is desirable that learners of Translation and Interpreting acquire a certain phraseological and paremiological competence. The combined use of several ICTs could have a motivating effect on the teaching and learning process, enhance collaborative learning, and improve learning outcomes. On this point, a training action has been designed within the framework of the flipped classroom and collaborative learning so that Translation and Interpreting students can identify paremias, learn about their types, and characterise them. In this training activity, tutorial videos, Google Drive documents, and the Instagram social network, specifically the account of the Paremia journal, are used for didactic purposes. Once the educational action is over, students are given a questionnaire to assess the results of the final task, find out their opinion on how useful these ICTs are, and ascertain whether they favour collaborative learning and are motivated by it. The answers to the questionnaire are processed quantitatively. In general, the students obtained good results in the task and assessed the tutorial videos and the posts of the Instagram account positively as contents for self-learning prior to classroom practice. They perceived the Instagram account of the Paremia journal as a very motivating resource and the Google Drive documents as a tool that intensifies collaborative learning. It can be concluded that the combined use of the three ICTs implemented in this study (tutorial videos, Google Drive documents, and Paremia’s Instagram account) boosts collaborative learning, improves student motivation, and facilitates the acquisition of paremiological competence.
