ABSTRACT The technology development can promove changes very important in educative envi- ronment, changes that actually can be fiction-science in our minds. In the present age of image and informatic, this development allows the creation of «hypermedias». In this ar- ticle it is presented the hypermedia «Learn spanish with Olafo», an instrument which fa- cilitates spanish learning to french-speakers. It is an informatic aplication that combines texts, images and sounds closely interconected. Hypermedias have a big instructive potential. - PublicationOpen AccessLos medios de comunicación y su aportación al desarrollo curricular en la Educación Primaria(Universidad de Murcia. Servicio de Publicaciones, 1992) Ballesta Pagán, Francisco JavierIn spite of the importance of the communication media in today's society andas an educational phenomenon, little has been done to integrate their use in schools in accordan- ce with the proposals laid out in the Currículum, and teaching continues to be traditional, monopolized by the use of the text book. This article intends to outline the contribution to teaching the communication media could make and advises a consideration of this contribution when devising pedagogical projects, bearing in mind the pupil's preparation to deal with the realities of daily life. The emphasis ought to be taken from the School's transmission of information in order to encourage an active and selective search for information by pupils, incorporating the me- dia as an organized integrated part of the project, after previous diagnosis and debate by the team of teachers. The use of the communication media would act as a back up and support in the deve- lopment of didactic units made up of activities of di verse grades of difficulty, chosen by the teacher in order to stimulate a process of communication amongst the participants.

- PublicationOpen AccessEscuela y regeneracionismo social en el discurso pedagógico español de principios del siglo XX(Universidad de Murcia, 1992) Vicente Jara, FernandoThis investigation illustrates the way in which early twentieth century pedagogical rea- soning outlines the importan ce of the School as a powerful instrument in national develo- pement and regeneration. But an analysis of the situation clearly reveals the state of neglect to which the question of education is left as far as the educational administration is con- cerned, a situation that gives rise to strong criticism of the pedagogical intervention on the pat1 of the politicians in power at the time, and a consideration of the school as a matter of social biology. lt is in this contex that the following circunstances acquire significance: concem about the graded school as a system of organization to which to adjust teaching, consideration of organization school premises, the matter of giving professional and social prestige to teaching, the problem of extending education to all the children of school age and the problem of the teacher-pupil ratio, educational material, teacher training, the reform of school inspection, the incorporation of the cost of primary education into the S tate Budget, and others.
- PublicationOpen AccessEl desarrollo personal y social: el autoconcepto(Universidad de Murcia, 1992) Martínez Clares, PilarOne of the main general objectives of the Educative Reforma is the improvement of the capacity of personal equilibre in the pupils of Obligatory Secundary Education, rela- ting this capacity with cognitive, intelectual and motion ones. Thus, the Basic Curricular Design indicates that the self-concept and self-steem are good predictors of the future success in the schoo1s. In this paper, the different theories of se1f-knowledge are shown, focusing on the L'Ecuyer's Model, which is the most referred in guidance praxis and literature. A concep- tual and methodological differentiation about the selfconcept and selfsteem is carried out by means of the definition of each theoric constructum and the analyse of the different instruments and tecniques of evaluation and measure of both concepts. Finally, the characteristiques, factors and functions which influence on the self- knowledge or se1f-concept are exposed.
