Abstract
Antes de la década
de los ochenta el cine palestino era en su mayoría documental de intervención o
testimonial, ligado a la OLP. Actualmente un gran número de mujeres cineastas
nacidas en Palestina o hijas de aquellos que tuvieron que emigrar por el conflicto,
defienden la identidad de este pueblo y la suya propia realizando películas
documentales y de ficción a pesar de las dificultades por el simple hecho de ser
mujer.
ABSTRACT: Before eighty years the palestine cinema was among all intervention or nominal documentary attached to PLO. Nowadays there are a great amount of cinema makers women born in Palestine or descendant of those who had to migrate because of the Palestine - Israel conflict, that defend their country and their own identity making fiction and documentary films even having troubles just for the fact of being women.
