Abstract
El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo fundamental analizar el ideal
de masculinidad apreciable en la ideología falangista y ponerlo en relación
con la novela Una mujer de veinte años de Mercedes Ballesteros, a fin de
sumarnos a los estudios dedicados a la combinación arte y fascismo, una de
las perspectivas más sugestivas de la corriente investigadora denominada
revisionismo histórico. La novela escogida, además, forma parte de una
tendencia poco conocida de la autora, la cual tuvo su punto álgido como
narradora en la década de los cincuenta. Por lo tanto, se trata del primer
estudio realizado sobre ella.
The main objective of the present work is to analyze the ideal of masculinity in the Falangist ideology and to put it in relation to the novel Una mujer de veinte años of Mercedes Ballesteros, in order to join the studies dedicated to the combination of art and fascism, one of the most suggestive perspectives of the current investigation called historical revisionism. The chosen novel, moreover, is part of a little known tendency of the author, which had its high point like narrator in the decade of the fifty. It is therefore the first study carried out on it.
