- PublicationOpen AccessL’analyse des erreurs en production écrite chez les apprenants arabophones en classe de FLE.(2018) Afifi, DaliaIn the teaching of foreign languages, the status of the error has evolved because it is no longer considered as a negative sign that refers to a lack of knowledge. Nevertheless, language in- terference remains a major source of difficulties for Arabs learning French as a foreign langua- ge. This study focuses on the analysis of essays written by Palestinian learners of A1-A2 level at Birzeit University. It aims to analyze the ty- pes of errors committed as well as their sources.
- PublicationOpen AccessLe pouvoir dévastateur du regard chez Nelly Arcan: de l’œil photographique à l’œil médusant.(Universidad de Murcia, Servicio de Publicaciones., 2018) Picazo, María DoloresAbstract: This work by Nelly Arcan is among the most radical ultra-contemporary rewrites of the myth of Medusa. The narrative, which focuses entirely on the theme of the gaze, points to its ambiguity –both terrifying and attractive- as well as its multiformity, by simultaneously proposing a dual and inverse interpretation of the myth. However, the autofictional nature of À ciel ouvert also makes it a ruthless criticism of the burden borne by today’s women with regard to their physical attractiveness. So much so that, feeling more and more observed and photographed, some women end up hiding under a cloak of sophisticated and painful treatments, a sort of “Burqa of flesh”, in an attempt to build a customized and unalterable body. Our article will show this dual dimension of the novel embodied in the theme of the gaze, by analysing the scopic function that is developed in the story through the professional relationships of the three characters, whose professions demand a proactive involvement of the gaze.
- PublicationOpen AccessEstudio fraseológico del cómic Mafalda: análisis contrastivo español/francés.(Universidad de Murcia, Servicio de Publicaciones., 2018) Navarro Paco, MaríaAbstract: This report aims to propose a reflection on the phraseological units and to carry out a diatopic and interlinguistic contrastive analysis of them through Mafalda comic strips, in order to study relations and influences between the phraseological universes of these languages from a semantic and pragmatic point of view. To do this, a corpus based on criteria of semantic and pragmatic complexity has been developed. On the other hand, we analyse the work of the translator, not with the intention of criticizing his task, but to discover what options have been preferred facing a text with these characteristics, why certain decisions and how the inter- pretation leads to the production of unique and different texts.
This article aims to carry out a descriptive analysis of the translation strategies and techniques used in the French amateur subtitles of the film Ocho apellidos vascos (Spanish Affair, 2014), strongly characterized by multilingualism and multiculturalism. It is a corpus where concepts such as language, identity and prejudices acquire a special relevance, given that the comedic plot of the film is based in a combination of all of them. Thus, the interest in studying how all these references have been translated into a language that ignores many of them.
- PublicationOpen AccessLa transposition de Dante et de Béatrice aux enfers du camp de Drancy à travers L’anus du monde de Daniel Zimmermann.(Universidad de Murcia, Servicio de Publicaciones., 2018) Arráez, José LuisAbstract: The purpose of this paper is to analyze the intertextuality of Dante Alighieri’s Vita nova in Daniel Zimmermann’s L’Anus du monde. This fictional account of the Holocaust depicts François Katz, a Jewish university student who is an atheist and a deported bourgeois. As a result of his deportation experience, which we interpret as a journey of initiation, Alighieri and his work, are considered by Katz as a human and literary reference. Following this perspective, we will show the transfiguration of Dante and of Béatrice in François and Myriam, which will help explain the psychological transposition of the bourgeois courting mirrored by Zimmermann in the concentration camp environment. Furthermore, we have focused our attention on the intertextual presence of Cantique des cantiques and of Talmud. This transtextual approach will allow us to explain the stylistic choice of the novelist whose intention is to avoid any type of parodic interpretation of historical referents.
- PublicationOpen AccessSoundjata ou l’épopée mandingue de D. T. Niane: de la transmisión oral a la publicación en francés.(Universidad de Murcia, Servicio de Publicaciones., 2018) Montes Nogales, Vicente EnriqueAbstract: This article aims to present Soundjata ou l’épopée mandingue (1960), of D. T. Niane, an epic story that tells the deeds of Soundjata, a hero who glorified the big Mandinka empire in the 13th century, not only through the griot poets’ words, but also thanks to his own creative work. To this end, we compare this literary work with another version of this epic story. L’épopée de Sunjara d’après Lansine Diabaté de Kéla (Malí) (1995), collated, transcribed and translated by Jansen, Duintjer and Tamboura, much closer to the oral sources than the story of Niane. Soundjata ou l’épopée mandingue, like other versions of the epic poem, has been published in French and thanks to this language the Mandinka monarch’s adventures crossed the boundaries of the African continent.
In this article we propose the study of a curious process of generic combination, noir genre and dystopian science fiction, and an intermediate phenomenon of literature and cinema through the analysis of Boris Vian’s pastiches under the pseudonym Vernon Sullivan. We focus, in particular, on a Hollywoodian subgenre of criticism of seriality and artificial perfection. For this we expose an original approach to the novel Et on tuera tous les affreux (1948) in relation to three North American films cataloged as neo-noir –two of them adaptations of novels by Ellroy– in order to study the representation of the femme fatale in a hypermasculinized context from an aesthetic, stylistic and sociological point of view.
- PublicationOpen AccessCréativité lexicale du discours touristique.(Universidad de Murcia, Servicio de Publicaciones., 2018) Grcic Simeunovic, Larisa; Lukezic Storga, MajaAbstract: The purpose of this article is to analyse the descriptive procedures used in French tourist guides. By taking several tourist guides the Guide du Routard, Voyager pratique and Petit Futé we propose to describe the specificities of this type of discourse where mix discursive subtypes such as scientific (description of the parts of monuments), popular (popularized ex- pressions to approach readers on holiday) and literary (metaphors, adjectives). In the second part of our study, we present the specific syntagmatic units for the tourist discourse. Our analysis aims to raise the level of expression among learners and tourist guides by proposing language choices from different discursive subtypes.
- PublicationOpen Access¿Colocaciones en vías de desfraseologización? De la selección interléxica a la selección semántico-léxica.(Universidad de Murcia, Servicio de Publicaciones., 2018) Díaz Rodríguez, CristianAbstract: The relation established between the two constituents of a collocation is frequently described as an interlexical selection. In this paper, we propose an extension of the selective restrictions consisting in considering the non-standard lexical function that justifies the cooccurrence of the collocation’s constituents as a kind of conditioned polysemy of the collocative when it appears not with a specific lexical base but with the materialization of a semanteme defining a class of objects. Eventually, the lexical function transmitted by the collocative can be extrapolated to other classes of objects. In this case, it is not possible to speak about lexical collocation but about a simple cooccurrence.
- PublicationOpen AccessAborder le défigement dans les cours de FLE.(Universidad de Murcia, Servicio de Publicaciones., 2018) Català Guitart, Dolors; Fuentes, SandrineAbstract: Unfrozenness is a process regularly used by classical writers (Rabelais, Diderot, Shakespeare and Quevedo, among others) as well as by contemporary authors (Prévert, Queneau, Vian, Benedetti ...) or even journalists, publicists, lyricists and comedians. It is an important sou- rce of information on frozenness, its corollary, and this is why many linguists have studied this phenomenon which is at once semantic, syntactic, stylistics, pragmatics and psycholinguistics. To our knowledge, however, its didactic dimension has not been the subject of much research. However, the purely metalinguistic deciphering operation of the frozenness requires the linguistic and cultural consciousness that the speakers of a language share, which makes it an interesting tool for developing students’linguistic and discursive competence and improving their intercultural competence. Thus, we will present in this paper a number of examples of linguistic manipulations and we will analyze them as didactic materials in the framework of a license in French philology at the UAB based on Mel’cuk theories and phraseodidactic approach.
- PublicationOpen AccessFicción autográfica y autografía ficcional: La busca del jardín y Ce que la nuit raconte au jour de Héctor Bianciotti.(Universidad de Murcia, Servicio de Publicaciones., 2018) Ori, JuliaAbstract: This article compares two autobiographical works of the French-Argentinian writer, Héctor Bianciotti: La busca del jardín (1977), written in Spanish, and Ce que la nuit raconte au jour (1992), published in French. Narratological methods are used in order to analyze the relationship between the author, the narrator and the character and the spatio-temporal structure of the texts. The Spanish story is written in third person in the form of a dictionary and tends to metaphorization. The French work is told in first person with a more important temporal and spatial coherence. Their comparison demonstrates that the change of language between the writing of the two books could provoke different autofigurations and mean in a certain way for Bianciotti finding himself in the language of adoption.
- PublicationOpen AccessProposition d’analyse multimodale du commentaire sportif télévisé en direct.(Universidad de Murcia, Servicio de Publicaciones., 2018) Djaoudi, HayatAbstract: This contribution aims to focus on the specificities of televised live sporting speech. We have chosen to perform a multimodal analysis of the commentary of the football match played by the FCB team against PSG during the Champions League 2017, an exceptional meeting marked by suspense and a lot of emotions. More precisely, we have mainly focused on the lexical, syntactic, prosodic aspects as well as the emotional stakes specific to this discursive genre.
- PublicationOpen AccessLa presencia de la materia epistolar en el Nouveau Roman y el Nouveau Théâtre.(Universidad de Murcia, Servicio de Publicaciones., 2018) Monterrubio, LourdesAbstract: The present article aims to analyse the presence of the epistolary material in the literary renovation materialised by the scriptural practices of the New Novel and The Theatre of the Absurd. The analysis of the different works –La Dernière Bande (1959) by Samuel Beckett, Le Fiston and Lettre morte (1959) by Robert Pinget, Histoire (1967) by Claude Simon, Correspondance and Réflexions (1968) by Louis Palomb, Aurélia Steiner (1979) by Marguerite Duras– will allow us to determine how their authors instrumentalise the epistolary material to show the impossibility of its realization. The epistolary device then becomes a tool of the rule-breaking practices of these new literary experiences, causing a metamorphosis of the letter that is essential in its evolution within the literary and theatrical space. The missive is generated as a radical expression of subjectivity and as a denial of its communicative characteristics and its possibilities of self-objectivation; it shows a identitary crisis which materialises in the human being’s inability to narrate and narrate oneself, to comunícate.
- PublicationOpen AccessGuy Goffette: un lyrisme du quotidien.(Universidad de Murcia, Servicio de publicaciones., 2018) Fernández Erquicia, IratiAbstract: After the experimental poetic tendencies that have been developed in French poetry between the 1960s and the 1970s, some French contemporary poets seem to get some lyric characteristics back into poetry. The French contemporary poet Guy Goffette is one of the representative poets of this procedure that has been initiated with the “Nouveau Lyrisme” in the 1980s. Those poets want to accomplish a reinterpretation and an actualisation of poetic lyrism, without returning to the effusiveness and the sentimentalism of traditional romantic lyrism. To avoid this, some poets like Guy Goffette seem to approach everyday life in their poetry, to stay on the side of simplicity, austerity and sobriety that will provide them the opportunity to approach the lyric characteristics of poetry without falling into an overemotional lyrism. This article aims to study the presence of a lyrism that we have called “of everyday life” in the poetry of Guy Goffette, to determine if the procedure of everyday life represents a new way to explore lyrism in French contemporary poetry.
- PublicationOpen AccessLa phraséologie dans le discours du dopage: un langage coloré.(Universidad de Murcia, Servicio de Publicaciones., 2018) Gómez Fernández, AraceliAbstract: The aim of this paper is to describe the phrasemes in doping discourse. The corpus created comes from a magazine specialized in sports, paying particular attention to specific headlines, found in these magazines, devoted to doping. These phrasemes appear in a high frequency rate mainly in the titles of magazine articles, mainly in the titles of magazine articles. The Speaker uses numerous linguistic mechanisms (the most important one being unfrozeness) to transgress the norms of the fixation of the phrases. The research is carried out within a Meaning Text Theory (MTT) theoretical framework. Two main families of phrasemes (= non-free phrases) are distinguished: lexical phrasemes and semantic-lexical phrasemes. Three major classes of phrasemes are presented: non- com- positional idioms, compositional collocations and clichés.
- PublicationOpen AccessDu côté des marginaux: le personnage d’Ahmed dans La tour de la Défense (1978) de Copi.(Universidad de Murcia, Servicio de Publicaciones., 2018) Vásquez Sáenz, Henry F.Abstract: Copi, writer, playwright and draughtsman Argentino settles in Paris in 1962 until his death in 1987. The experience of exile and wandering marks the personal and creative trajectory of this intercultural artist. Indeed, a whole series of vulnerable and marginal characters swarm in their particular universe and subvesivo. In this space of the excluded, the figure of the immigrant Maghreb in France, embodied in the character of Ahmed, acquires all its significance. In this work we will try to analyse the symbolic value of Ahmed, heir to the colonial past marked by rejection, which appears in the Teatro de Copi, specifically in La Défense Tour (1978). Ahmed’s image traces an invisible and symbolic line that separates the two shores of the Mediterranean: the Maghrebi and the French. This dichotomy leaves behind a world of opposite and ambivalent feelings of desire and hatred, love and violence, happiness and misfortunes where the author always Posisionará on the side of the oppressed. Will Ahmed be the symbol of freedom and tolerance, the embodiment of the true solidarity values forgotten by the French society?
- PublicationOpen AccessLa fraseología del francés jurídico en la argumentación de sentencias.(Universidad de Murcia, Servicio de Publicaciones., 2018) Macías Otón, ElenaAbstract: This article examines the use and functioning of phraseological units in the language of law, and more specifically, in the discourse used to formulate arguments and to explain reasoning in court decisions. To do so, after a brief introduction to justify the importance of this subject at the academic level, we present the taxonomy of the phraseological units followed in the article, as well as the peculiarities of the different legal genres. A second part deals with the phraseology units that structure the court decision and conform their textual superstructure. Finally, the third part tries to relate the conceptual organization and the orientation of the argu- mentative intention through the methodology of the legal syllogism.
- PublicationOpen AccessEl exilio en Adieu, vive clarté... de Jorge Semprún: la superación de un trauma.(Universidad de Murcia, Servicio de Publicaciones., 2018) Rodríguez Varela, RitaAbstract: Exile is an experience with traumatic consecuences that has accompanied the human being during all the History. Traumatism is characterized by the multiplicity and diversity of manifestations, it produces an indelible split in life. In literary fields, it appears as the motive of writing where the author seeks to understand and to give sense to the experience through writing. This article wants to analyze the experience of the exile of the writer Jorge Semprún. And that’s the reason why we first of all talk about the triple loss of his mother, his infancy and his home country; secondly, the compulsory adulthood will be exposed, and the end, the way he chose to take, will be analyzed. It helped him to overcome the consecuences of the exile and characterizes what he had to fight for during his life.
- PublicationOpen AccessProstitution et échanges sexuels: de l’optique occidentale à la réalité maghrébine.(Universidad de Murcia, Servicio de Publicaciones., 2018) Perales, Juan JoséAbstract: Prostitution in Morocco has had the same features as in any other part of the world, though colonialism has contributed to its development. Being independent and living out of the family’s control meant their sexual relations were illicit, no different from sex work, as suggested by the use of the word zinâ (fornication) which includes all sorts of illicit and illegal relations. Nowadays, there are adult and young women who share apartments and pay this independence with their own well-earned money or the money given by their lover(s) as a gift, an exchange which is tolerated by society, since not getting anything from the men they have sexual relations with would not be right. Nevertheless, the loss of virginity implies the impossibility of coming into marriage, so long awaited by large numbers of women. Virginity is then guaranteed by the preservation of the hymen through different sexual practices not involving vaginal penetration.
- PublicationOpen AccessContributions à une sémantique argumentative et énonciative: adjectifs qualificatifs neutres et adjectifs qualificatifs extrêmes.(Universidad de Murcia, Servicio de Publicaciones., 2018) Gil Casadomet, AránzazuAbstract: The scientific research detailed in this paper aims at some adjectives in contemporary French from a pragmatic and semantic perspec- tive. We suggest the hypothesis according to which there exist certain semantic instructions having an effect upon the grammatical mood and verbal tense to match with the same lexical meaning of adjectives and in according to the intrinsic graduation. This linguistic analysis undertaken in this investigation finalizes with a classification of French adjectives on the verbal mode and tense. We have classified the adjectives in adjectifs qualificatifs neutres and adjectifs qualificatifs extrêmes according to the intensification or absence of it in the intrinsic gradation of such adjectives used with certain grammatical moods and verbal tenses.
