Abstract
puede establecerse una correlación positiva entre ese paisaje lingüístico y la ideología imperante en cada época. Durante la segunda mitad del Franquismo una parte sustancial de los nombres de los estadios españoles se dedicaron a las figuras que habían conducido a sus respectivos clubes, reproduciendo simbólicamente la propia estructura semiótica de la Dictadura. La evolución de los tiempos ha hecho que en la actualidad se hayan convertido en reclamos comerciales.
This paper analyzes the historical evolution of the names of Spanish soccer stadiums.This chronological overview shows that a positive correlation can be established between this linguistic landscape and the prevailing ideology of each era. During the second half of Franco's regime, a substantial number of Spanish stadium names were dedicated to figures who had led their respective clubs, symbolically reproducing the semiotic structure of the dictatorship itself. The evolution of the times has meant that today they have become commercial attractions.
