Abstract
El tema del uso del tiempo por las mujeres ha ocupado no
sólo nuestros pensamientos, sino el elaborado por muchas
otras que lo han estudiado en profundidad y con ello han
contribuido a la reformulación del mismo.
En este artículo se revisa la relación de las mujeres y el
tiempo desde una perspectiva de género y se analizan los
usos del tiempo en Educación. Especialmente el de las
maestras, quienes han de cumplir con un triple rol en su
relación con el tiempo, como mujeres, madres y maestras.
Asimismo, se ofrecen experiencias y acciones positivas que
permiten conciliar las distintas esferas vitales de las personas,
en concreto la profesional y la familiar, equilibrando el uso
desigual, que hacemos mujeres y varones, del tiempo.
The issue of the use of time by women has not only taken place in our thoughts but it has also been developed by many other women, who have studied it in depth and have thereby contributed to its reformulation. This article reviews the relationship between women and the use of time from a gender perspective and discusses the use of time in Education. In particular, we focus on how time Is used by female school teachers, who must fulfill a triple role in their relationship with time, as women, as mothers and as teachers. Finally, experiences and positive actions are offered which allow harmonizing their different spheres of life, mainly the work and family spheres, aiming to balance the unequal use of time by men and women.
