Abstract
En este trabajo se proponen algunos elementos de reflexión sobre la naturaleza, el objeto
y los presupuestos epistemológicos de la noción de “crítica” en el pensamiento de
Jacques Rancière. Para ello, se toma como punto de referencia y horizonte polémico la
serie de objeciones que Rancière dirige al paradigma de la “crítica de la representación”,
del que el pensamiento de Guy Debord constituye un caso ejemplar. Se concluye
estableciendo algunos paralelismos entre la definición de la crítica por Rancière como
manifestación del disenso y la que llevan a cabo los teóricos de la hegemonía,
concretamente Chantal Mouffe.
This work proposes some elements of reflection on the nature, object and epistemological presuppositions of the notion of "critique" in Jacques Rancière’s philosophy. To this end, the objections directed by Rancière to the paradigm of the "critique of representation", of which Guy Debord's thought constitute an exemplary case, are taken as a point of reference and polemical horizon. The paper concludes by establishing some parallels between Rancière’s definition of critique as a manifestation of dissensus and that carried out by theorists of hegemony, specifically Chantal Mouffe.
