Description
Abstract
College students have deficiencies in their formation as the limited use of the library and information, and a very memoristic learning. We believe that university education must innovate to train young people with a critical mind where information plays an important role. Information literacy of students becomes, thus, an essential element. We studied two groups of students from two universities in two countries on two different continents to determine how to use the new information technologies, lectronic resources and the role to be played the teacher in the educational process. We found differences between students of the University of Murcia in Spain and the National Autonomous University of Mexico, but also similarities.
