Description
Abstract
The aim of this article is to justify the need for development and intensification of information literacy services in libraries. This would be the result of expanding the role of libraries as a tool for non-formal education and lifelong learning, which in turn is a consequence of the accelerating change and complexity of knowledge required socially. Information literacy is a transformation of the service user training, public libraries compete both as a school or university, and must be present in traditional spaces and new telematic space of libraries in the digital library.
