- PublicationOpen AccessLa utilización de los blogs como recurso educativo en el área de Lengua Castellana y LiteraturaTorrego González, AlbaThe proliferation of the use of technology among high school students has contributed to their inclusion in the classroom. This paper analyzes the educational use of ICT in the area of Spanish language and literature and discusses some examples of activities that are in the network. Then, we describe a proposal, which is based on using a blog as an educational tool for the study of Baroque literature. The paper concludes with a description of the results of an assessment conducted by the students about their experience with the use of the blog.

For this positive development, it becomes necessary that the teacher possesses the pedagogic necessary abilities and shows positive attitudes that favor the integration of the culturally minority pupil. It has split of three basic elements in order that the teachers could develop an intercultural educational competition and, from them, one has proposed an educational specific and different formation for the familiar area of the learner, indispensable in the process of attainment of the intercultural abilities.

It focuses on the opinions and perceptions of the teaching staff involved directly in the management of teaching. Relevant data provides a more complete view of student participation, which is a complex and multidimensional phenomenon. The interpretation of that data provides important information that helps explain some of the reasons for this low participation and leads to possible strategies to attempt to overturn this tendency.

Incidencia del PortafolioOliveras Contreras, María Luisa; Agudo Navío, NoeliaAfter developing an innovative program to bring a course of university education, initial teacher training, to the EHEA, by applying our Emerging Instructional Model MED, including new methodologies and learning tasks to achieve new goals, we show the results of research concerning the evaluation of MED by a group of students who participated in the implementation of the model. The methodology is qualitative, including quantitative data. The results indicate the success of the MED for the professional competencies: reflective practitioner, cooperative work and interdisciplinary creativity, aims to integrate the EHEA.

Its purpose was to identify and analyze how the skills and basic skills from curriculum access are specified when you apply the Project "Alber: an instrument for diversity attention in the classroom."The participants have been 4 year old students and the classroom teacher of school Princep de Viana in Lleida, a school with a high number of immigrant pupils. For its development, has been carried out an observational study, based on the analysis of interaction in the classroom, using a protocol of analysis that has been used in previous works in the Spanish context. This study was carried out in parallel with the observation and recording skills and abilities to access the curriculum that make up the project Alber.The results obtained allow us to assert that the analysis of interaction in the classroom is a valid tool to investigate educational practice.

Fases formativas y procesos metodológicos de investigaciónJiménez Cortés, RocíoThis paper presents an analysis of ten empirical research based in the process of coaching as effective strategy in the professional development of teachers. The coaching is a new approach based on research and an systematically supported learning. This approach is an important theme for the teachers awareness and the teachers practical thought. The findings provide: a) a classification of the diverse modalities of coaching in the teacher education y b) training stages and methodological processes of coaching. This revision of scientific literature provides a conceptual, theoretical and practical base for further studies to build a knowledge base on this topic.
- PublicationOpen AccessLa práctica pedagógica en la formación inicial de profesores del primer ciclo de Enseñanza BásicaLopes Menino, Hugo Alexandre; Blázquez Entonado, FlorentinoBeing centered in the context of initial teachers' education this article describes and analyzes the speech about the role of the pedagogic practice in the point of view of the different elements that participate in that process. The developed investigation was drawn in both quantitative and qualitative paradigms, involving futures teachers, cooperative teachers (tutors) and supervisor teachers. The analysis was essentially descriptive and interpretative. The analysis allowed obtaining a conceptual picture guided by several categories that show: the conceptions concerning the expectations and fears about profession; the function and organization of the pedagogic practice; and, the cooperative teachers' role and supervisors'role. The main results evidence that the component of practice is very important in the pre- service teachers' education.

In this context it is essential a continuous education supported by virtual learning environments of quality. The main objective of this research is the study of the quality of virtual courses from different public institutions, aimed to the training of teachers. The sample consists of four training courses for any college graduates. The results indicate that the courses studied are rich in resources although it is suggested improvements in the methodology.

The readings selected are taken from the original source and must be relevant according to critical and communicative pedagogy. A discussion group was formed to gather opinions on the advantages this technique may offer; the collective construction of knowledge or the need for feedback between theory and practice were the main ideas that came up.
- PublicationOpen AccessDiferentes percepciones sobre evaluación formativa entre profesorado y alumnado en formación inicial en educación físicaMartínez Muñoz, Luis Fernando; Castejón Oliva, Francisco Javier; Santos Pastor, María LuisaEl objetivo del estudio es comprobar si hay diferencias en la opinión que tienen estudiantes y profesorado sobre la evaluación formativa en la formación inicial de educación física en la universidad. Se ha aplicado un cuestionario entre el profesorado (16 profesores de dos universidades) y entre el alumnado (89 alumnos y 41 alumnas de esas titulaciones). Los resultados muestran que los estudiantes reclaman una evaluación práctica, coherente y sencilla; mientras que los profesores buscan un mayor compromiso de los estudiantes y de la institución. Se precisan cambios en la evaluación para que haya coherencia en la formación.
- PublicationOpen AccessEl papel de la Educación Superior en la producción del conocimiento en el clima cultural del presenteRodríguez, Milagros ElenaEl debate sobre las funciones de la Universidad exige de la revisión de su epistemología, ya que aparte de conceptualizar y entender la Universidad y su función en la sociedad, debe entenderse lo que es enseñar. En éste articulo de reflexión, se muestra una investigación cualitativa, reflexiva con sustento documental que realiza un análisis del papel de la Educación Superior en la producción del conocimiento en el clima cultural del presente. Es urgente la inserción de estas instituciones de Educación Superior en las nuevas dinámicas del mundo, abrir sus puertas, derrumbar barreras que las desunen con la sociedad, ampliar su perspectiva de acción institucional, relacionarse al mundo académico internacional. Se debe progresar en el conocimiento transdiciplinario de la realidad física, biológica, espiritual y social, generando otras visiones y valoraciones, así como a otras capacidades de respuestas y resolución ante los problemas investigados. El docente no debe permanecer pasivo ante una realidad que los arropa, se requiere de su formación humanista integral y repensar su propia praxis.
