Servicio de Publicaciones, 2004-01-01) González López, IgnacioThis work represents a contribution more when establishing an accepted definition of the academic achievement in the University. As conglomeration defined as multidimensional and relative, it is influenced by different factors, which have tried to define by means fo the realization of an discriminant analysis, establishing the difference of what could be considered a half high yield and I lower. The variables were specified by virtue of those factors that condition the quality of an university institution and basing us on a structure relacional that classifies them in entrance, process and producer, works with a total of 55. Also, the study was carried out on a total of 807 students of different titulaciones. The results that they correct identification like indicator of university quality.

Servicio de Publicaciones, 2004-01-01) León, María José; Díaz, Elena; Romero, Mª AsunciónThe "Social Guaranty Programs" are an educational alternative with the purpose of achiving a Sociolaboral insertion, its basic objectives are: to extend (widen) basic (training) formation, to prepare the student for a professional actitivity and to development and assure his personal growth.Though the time past since it's establisment, these programs have not been assessed. For that reason the research group FORCE has carried away a study with which it is intended to evaluate the practice of these programs, focusing in the difficulties found by schools, associations and no lucrative entities which have stablish them.In the same way this work tried to analyse the development of formative conmponents within these programs, in order to try to determine whether the educational offer suits initial expectacies. Some of the results obtain in this work are shown in this article as well as some proposals for improvement from these results.
- PublicationOpen AccessExpectativas vocacionales de resultados en los estudiantes de secundaria(Universidad de Murcia. Servicio de Publicaciones, 2004-01-01) Hernández Franco, VicenteThis work is framed in the context of the study of the causal determinant of the vocational interests from a perspective social cognitive (Lent, Brown y Hackett, 1994). Considering the «vocational values» or vocational outcomes expectations as one of the cognitive mediators of the vocational interests (Hernández Franco, 2001), the study approaches the empiric verifi cation of the theoretical structure proposed by Bandura (1987) on the types of vocational consequences that the individuals advance in connection with their interests. The sample we have investigated consists of 1250 students of high school. The obtained results indicate that the types of students differ in connection with the vocational consequences that advance for the election of their vocational preferences can group in four factors of fi rst order that we have denominated: Altruism, Security, Prestige-Power and Independence. Also, a factorial analysis of second order has allowed us to carry out a new proposal of conceptualisation of this construct in two types of styles of anticipation of the vocational consequences of the students of secondary: intrinsic and extrinsic.

Servicio de Publicaciones, 2004-01-01) Alfaro Rocher, Ignacio J.The objective of this work is to present an exploration of the current scientifi c research on the field of ‘Educational Diagnosis’ through a bibliometric methodology using as a fundamental axis the same descriptor, which is thoroughly accepted in thesauri of the more credited databases on Psychology and Education. Logically, this analysis of scientifi c production for a period of 17 years and within a volume of 1,464 articles classifi ed with this descriptor defi nes the state of scientific knowledge in this subject in an objective way. Moreover, a suggestive model of diagnostic intervention derived from the application of some multivariate techniques related to concept mapping is inferred.

For some years the histories of life, inside the narrative focus, one comes using undoubtedly as a method help from an outstanding way to the description, reflection and understanding of the behaviors revealed by people in their particular interrelation environment and communication. In fact, one of the instruments of collection of used data has been the histories of some people’s related with the club sport study object life whose contributions highlight here.

Servicio de Publicaciones, 2004-01-01) Cubo Delgado, Sixto; González Gómez, José Juan; González Chaves, SilviaWhith this paper we aim at offering a global picture of the criteria of bibliographical reference that is more frequently used in the educational field. We specially deal with the criteria proposed by the American Psychological Association (APA) for being the ones more used in this context.After the exposition fo the above mentioned criteria and the reference to several works as example, we propose some procedures to index the documents obtained by electronic resources, emphasizing the internet as main source for the importation and exportation of information in the scientific research.Finally, we will introduce the reader in the use of END-NOTE 6.0 program, manager that allowes to look for and give digital format to the bibliographical references. We also explain briefly the posibilities of the APA-Style Helper 3.0 program, similiar to the previous one.

Servicio de Publicaciones, 2004-01-01) Cid Sabucedo, AlfonsoNowadays the life in the schools is fashionable. We can characterize this fashion with two essential features: the climate and the living. Although, too frequency it turns up from the most negative feature: the violence. However, we can study the school’s life from the most positive feature: the quality one. In its study one decisive factor is the school climate. For its study several views and instruments are developped. Nowadays, there are two views fully spread: the personality and the health ones. In this study it’s described the school climate, from the health’s view, through the OHI-R. With that, as well as to describe the school climate, the greater contribution from the study, maybe, it is to have used this view and instrument at the fi rst time in our context.
- PublicationOpen AccessDiagnóstico de las actitudes hacia el medio ambiente en alumnos de secundaria: una aplicación de la TRI(Universidad de Murcia. Servicio de Publicaciones, 2004-01-01) Matas Terrón, Antonio María; Tójar Hurtado, Juan Carlos; Jaime Martín, Juan Jesús; Benítez Azuaga, Francisco Manuel; Almeda, LuisThis paper tries to analyze the attitudes to environment of secondary school students. A specific test, with 18 multiple options items, has been made analyzing its psicometric properties with a sample of 330 subjects. The estimate of students’ attitude level had been realized through the three parameters model from item response theory. The results get average attitude levels to environment. The latent feature model has permitted to identify three subsamples with different attitude levels (low, average, high). Educational implications, specially in the design of programs, are straightforward. The estimate, using the latent feature model, shows a more precise differential approach to individuals, objective that is always desirable from an educational perspective centered on the subject and the environmental values.

M.; Anaya Nieto, Daniel; Gómez Veiga, I.The construct of Self-regulated Learning has been conceptualized as the process through which the activities directed by goals are instigated and sustained so that learning is conscious, deliberate and expert, which must constitute one of the main objectives that every educative system should develop in their students. In this work, we intend to determine, first, if there exist significative differences in reported self-regulation of learning among university students with regard to the gender. Second, prove which are the motivational variables that predict better an optimal level of self-regulated learning with respect to the gender differences. The results show, fi rst, that the woman displayed signifi cantly higher self-regulated learning. And second, a different contribution of the studied motivational variables with respect to students´ gender.

- PublicationOpen AccessDiagnóstico en la teleformación: construcción y validación de un escalograma Guttman(Universidad de Murcia. Servicio de Publicaciones, 2004-01-01) García Pérez, RafaelThe methodological study that we present in this article it considers its object the construction and validation of a scalogran to explore some functions of assessment in the learning of university students with systems of «e-learning». Also, in a more conceptual line, we present the Guttman’s scales as instruments of assessment to study this type of educational processes. It’s revised some methodological properties of the scalogran, that it are very appropriate tools for to be integrated in the design of the educational Web pages. This assessment instrument permits, to the users, resolve of efficient form for the initial evaluation of themselves in the systems of «e-learning»; especially, when it’s designed to attend to a diversity of users with different educational levels. This is the case of the «S. T. MIDE», which it’s created like virtual support to the learning of the subject: «Techniques and Instruments of Assessment». It’s presented an scalogran that the users can utilize for the initial evaluation of themselves, of its level of control in subject, differentiating among levels of «inexperienced», «initiated» and «expert» for the auto-selection of activities of e-learning. In short, it’s presented an empirical study of the reliability and validity (of construct and concurrent) of the scalogran elaborated for the assessment function in the universitary e-learning.
- PublicationOpen AccessLa escolarización en un barrio desfavorecido(Revista de Investigación Educativa, 2004, Vol. 22, n.º 1, 2004-01-01) Siles Rojas, Carmen; Reyes Rebollo, Miguel MªThe purpose of this work is to investigate the values behind the nature and behaviour of the parents and the way they deal with their children´s schooling. We have chosen the Hall-Tonna´s Work on values Model, applying it to 268 parents living in a poor district, both socially and culturally, and we have evaluated the academic development of a sample of 678 students with the school qualifications in subjects of there academic levels. The results point out that there are differences in the hierarchy of values of the parents, depending on whether the school they have chosen for their children is inside or outside the district.

The aim is broach the models of woman present in this kind of advertise.In order to develop this study has been necessary to elaborate and validate instruments for the analysis of sexis stereotypes and prejudgements in publicity. The study begin with a theoretical base where a summary of different studies done in this fild with their most relevant conclussions is presented, as well as, is include an enumeration of the stereotypes and sexist bias that contribute to our study as analysing criterias. The presentation of methodology and phases of this research lead to a summary of the result gained though the analysis done. Finalyy this article conclude with the presentation of the different models of women displayed by actual publicity.
