To obtain data and information we usedthat we elaborated, in this way we start to consider to the idiosyncrasy of the center and groups of discussion, to obtain lot of data to understand the center better and to reflect on this aspects that need to be checking to make better. From the analisis of the data we prepared a plan to make better in agreement with the characteristics of the center.
- PublicationOpen AccessCompetencias ciudadanas en el alumnado de segundo ciclo de Educación Secundaria Obligatoria en Almería(Universidad de Murcia. Servicio de Publicaciones, 2006-01-01) Soriano Ayala, EncarnaThis report shows the research carried out about the civic competences in the second stage of secondary school pupils from Almería. The report begins with a brief theoretical background where civic competences are analyzed: criticism, social-communicative and conflict resolution, considering the intercultural competence as a transverse question. The formulation of specific research targets gives way to the presentation of the methodology which specifies the construction of a likert-type scale about civic competences and the main topics that guide the two discussion groups made up of both Spanish and immigrant school children. Finally, qualitative and quantitative results and achieved conclusions are shown.

Servicio de Publicaciones, 2006-01-01) Feixas, MónicaThe present article deals with the process of design and development of the Questionnaire for the analysis of the University Teachers’ Teaching Orientation. It has been developed considering the last decade international research in the field of university teaching and after a careful revision of the most important research tools in teaching approaches. The article aims at gathering empirical evidence to recognize its metric qualities, therefore it presents the validation process of the theoretical construct, as well as the steps followed in the design and development of the questionnaire: from the formulation of indicators and items of the study variables, the validity and reliability of the initial test, the revision of validity and reliability of the second study and the final measurement tool.
- PublicationOpen AccessUn programa de composición de textos argumentativos para psicopedagogas(Universidad de Murcia. Servicio de Publicaciones, 2006-01-01) Suárez Yáñez, AndrésIn this action research a programme aimed at improving the written composition of argumentative texts of a group of Psycho-pedagogy students was designed, implemented and evaluated. This action was decided once a series of difficulties had been spotted in their written exams and assignments, subsequently also to a reflection about themes considered pertinent. The programme resulted in the metacognitive development sought, and probably also in the improvement of argumentative text composition and comprehension. The study concludes with a reflection on this first cycle of action and suggested innovations for the following cycle.

Servicio de Publicaciones, 2006-01-01) Pantoja Vallejo, Antonio; Campoy Aranda, Tomás J.Seasonal immigration is a yearly recurrent phenomena in the Province of Jaén during the olive harvest. It is a fact that workers travel from their home places together with the whole family including children of school age. As there are no studies about the real socioeducational needs of this group, we propose research in two phases, qualitative and descriptive, during and after the period of work. We will draw on the main sources of information (parents, teachers, and seasonal students and their non seasonal schoolmates) to ascertain their real needs, aiming to establish some conclusions and specific proposals for improvement.

The growing social preoccupation about educative actions and alternatives in order to improve the cohesion of our community, generates important challenges. The development of reflections based on research3 promote the comprehension of determined aspects, in a more real and less stereotyped way. It is important to flee from interested cliché, arisen from politic and ideological perspectives that tend to bias the problem. Youth Penal Justice constitutes an ambit of cultural diversity irruption, in a very significant way in recent years. In the teenagers centers as in other alternative measures, the presence of immigrant population is clearly visible. This situation is generating an important reflection about the use of the conflict management forms in Youthful the Penal Law at the moment, to answer to the new necessities and demands emerged from the changes in offender teenager population. From these pages we analyze in depth the mediation use as an alternative in penal ambit, in those cases which one of the parts is constituted by immigrant teenagers, to be able to provide comprehensive bases for the improvement of such processes
- PublicationOpen AccessCriterios e indicadores para la evaluación de procedimientos en el programa ciencia y tecnología para niños(Universidad de Murcia. Servicio de Publicaciones, 2006-01-01) González Ramírez, Teresa; Correa Gutiérrez, SergioResults of a research project designed to evaluate process contents in the Hands-On Science Program for Basic Education in Tamaulipas (Mexico) are reported. Evaluation procedures designed were focused on observation and note taking tasks, elaboration of graphic representations, and planning of experiments included in the Program. Results obtained indicate the differentiation in two groups of the schools participating in the program, depending on the number of units taken by children. On the one hand, we find children of schools with more hands-on units taken (7 or 8, showing higher scores, in relative terms), and, on the other, we find children of schools with only 1 to 3 units taken, showing lower scores than their counterparts.

Servicio de Publicaciones, 2006-01-01) Mateo, JoanIn this article the evolution produced in the conceptual framework measurement and evaluation of the education has been analysed in depth. It starts with a reflection around the most important limitations of the present model, based on the classic psychometrics and behaviourist theory. Furthermore, it is stated that the most significant changes occurred in the associated contexts to the educational measurement and evaluation. Finally, the basis for a new paradigm are presented.

Servicio de Publicaciones, 2006-01-01) Moral Santaella, CristinaThe validity of the current qualitative research is analyzed in this paper. The scientific validity criteria are being questioned by validity criteria sensitive to issues such as interpretation, representation, reflexivity and research control. This paper provides criteria for the evaluation of the qualitative research papers, based on a validation that surpasses the triangulation and chooses «crystallization», processes which are supposed to be more coherent with the social reality that intends to capture the qualitative research.

Servicio de Publicaciones, 2006-01-01) Bisquerra Alzina, Rafael; Martínez Olmo, Francesc; Obiols Soler, Maritxell; Pérez Escoda, NuriaProgrammes evaluation in emotional education is a difficult subject due to the characteristics of the phenomena to be evaluated. As well as the long tradition in knowledge evaluation through paper and pencil tests, competency evaluation still has a long way to go in order to provide satisfactory evidence. When we speak of emotional competencies, it is made even more difficult. In this article 360º evaluation is presented, also known as 360º feedback, as an alternative in emotional education. This technique can be used in the evaluation of programmes as well as people. The characteristics of this technique and the application to a real situation are exposed; the evaluation of a programme of emotional education in secondary education. The technique involves obtaining a stereoscopic vision of the phenomena from the opinions of various people. In this case, a minimum of seven people evaluate each student: three teachers, three other students, as well as an auto-evaluation by each student himself. It is a technique that presents complexity, as much as in the application as in the correction, but the results can be considered satisfactory. At the moment, the 360º evaluation is probably one of the most appropiate for evaluation in emotional education.

Knowledge and attitudes towards EHEA of university teachers are evaluated. Based on a diagnosis of the current situation a research model is proposed. The aim of the model is helping to choose the actions for adoption more useful. Model is validated through a survey to 423 docents belonging to three Spanish universities.

These spaces or virtual environments are generating of great documental, observational and conversational potential what you/they modify the procedures in an or another way or technical conventional so much in the gathering of data like in their production, storage, analysis and presentation. This article is product of the investigation work «Technical of more utilized Gathering of Data in the Qualitative Investigation implemented in Virtual Environments» within the framework of the doctorate program «Processes of Formation in Virtual Spaces».
