Abstract
La fraternidad es una idea política
con una larga trayectoria histórica y forma parte
del nacimiento de la política moderna durante
el período de la Revolución francesa junto a las
ideas de libertad e igualdad. No obstante, la fra-
ternidad ha recibido muy poca atención por parte
de la filosofía política contemporánea. En este
artículo, realizo un análisis conceptual de la idea
política de fraternidad con el fin de identificar los
elementos comunes y distintivos de la misma.
Fraternity is a political idea with a long historical trajectory and forms part of the birth of modern politics during the period of the French Revolution together with the ideas of freedom and equality. However, fraternity has received very little attention from contemporary political philo- sophy. In this article, I make a conceptual analysis of the political idea of fraternity in order to iden- tify the common and distinctive elements of it.
