Abstract
Si queremos responder a los retos y
necesidades de la sociedad multicultural en la que vivimos, la realización de un Proyecto Educativo y Curricular, adaptado y contextualizado a la realidad de cada centro educativo, es una de las principales
tareas a realizar por parte de los mismos. En
este sentido, la elaboración de este documento, o la revisión del mismo en el caso de estar realizado, debería significar un momento privilegiado de reflexión y torna de decisiones que redundara en la mejora y calidad de su respuesta educativa. Se trataría, en definitiva, de plasmar la acción educativa intercultural en aspectos tales como la definición de las señas de identidad, de los objetivos y la estructura organizativa y curricular. De esta forma, estaríamos planteando una educación basada en el
diálogo, en la tolerancia y en la convivencia pacífica entre todos los miembros de una sociedad sin realizar ningún tipo de exclusión. Así pues, en este artículo se presentan algunas de las posibles respuestas educativas a tener en cuenta en la elaboración de un Proyecto Educativo y
Curricular de Centro atento a las minorías étnicas.
Summary: If we want to face the challenges and to meet the needs of an increasingly multicultural society, one of the main objectives of every school should be the development of a currículum and educational project according to its characteristics and situation. From this point of view, the creation or improvement of this document should be a moment for reflection and making decisions that will benefit the quality of education. lt would mean to integrate intercultural education in aspects of life such as ethnic identity, objectives and curricular and organizational structure. This way, education would base on dialogue, tolerance and pacific coexistence among all members of society, without segregation. Hcnce, this paper presents some possible educational answers to bear in mind when preparing an educational project and a school curriculum that pays attention to ethnic minorities.
