La argumentación es un procedimiento fundamental en la poesía de Jorge Luis
Borges. El poeta argumenta sobre la base del empleo de ciertos campos
figurativos y, además, reflexiona sobre la fugacidad de la vida y Buenos Aires
como urbe moderna.Así, subraya la especificidad de la literatura latinoamericana.
