Description
Abstract
The aim of this paper is to offer, based on the discussion about the ideological function of productive forces in advanced industrial societies, a genealogical research of some of the basic concepts of Jürgen Habermas ́s theory. The research shall include the original normative proposal, in terms of discursive formation of a common political will, with which Habermas tries to overcome the technocratic consciousness. Doing that, Habermas distances himself from the first generation of Critical Theory, specifically from Marcuse.
