Description
Abstract
Abstract: In this article our purpose it’s to show up the polysemes words of the biomedical research. Those words, used as lexical units, have for their users a specific meaning known only by all the group. Our goal is to identify and present new meanings of words in general language once admitted for all the users of this specific language. The polysemy can change the use and the sense of one word depending on the context. The inconveniences of the polysemy for a translator it is for us our starting point. We wanted to make a guide list to help them at first needs not only for translators, researchers, bio-medical students, and “curious” people in that topic. They will need a special knowledge of those termino logies to avoid severe misunderstandings. Their objective is to acquire enough competences to help them during the process of reading scientific documents in reviews.
