Abstract
En este texto se aborda el tema de la narración en relación con la comprensión y la memoria. Siguiendo la filosofía de Hannah Arendt, planteamos que el relato podría representar un sesgo en la resignificación de experiencias personales a pesar de que es, a su vez, condición de posibilidad. Concluimos que la resignificación de experiencias personales es posible mediante una ampliación de la mentalidad que podría lograrse recurriendo a otras interpreta-ciones de nuestra experiencia o a otras historias, y resaltamos el carácter de fragilidad del relato.
This text addresses the topic of narration in relation to comprehension and memory, following Hannah Arendt’s philosophy. We pro-pose that storytelling could introduce bias in the re-signification of personal experiences, despite being a condition of possibility. We conclude, making emphasis in the story’s chararter of fragi-lity, that the re-signification of personal experiences is possible through the enlarged thinking that could achieved by considering alternative inter-pretations of our experiences or exploring other narratives.
