Abstract
La introducción del español coloquial en el aula de ELE nace tanto por la
demanda de los propios estudiantes como por justicia con respecto a la
misma lengua española, pues una gran parte de nuestras interacciones se
hacen bajo un contexto informal que conlleva el uso de este registro. En
este trabajo se persiguen dos objetivos: por un lado, la creación de una
lista de rasgos propios del español coloquial que pueden introducirse en el
aula de ELE ordenados de acuerdo con el ámbito lingüístico al que hacen
referencia; por otro, la clasificación de dichos rasgos de manera sistemática
en los seis niveles establecidos por el MCER de acuerdo con su dificultad, las
ventajas que implican en el desarrollo de los estudiantes, las necesidades
de estos y de los conocimientos previos que tienen. Tradicionalmente, el
español coloquial parecía relegado a los niveles más altos; sin embargo,
este estudio, en consonancia con las últimas investigaciones, se decanta por
adelantar la enseñanza de ciertos aspectos a niveles intermedios o incluso
iniciales. Además, subraya la importancia de la enseñanza de cuestiones
relativas a la fonética, a la comunicación no verbal y a peculiaridades
conversacionales, aparte de las ya clásicas léxicas y gramaticales.
Colloquial Spanish inside the SSL language classroom has its origins not only in the students’ claim, but also it is matter of justice to Spanish language in fact: a great portion of our daily interactions take place under this informal context where we should use a colloquial register. This work has to main goals. On the one hand, an elaboration of a colloquial Spanish features’ list which includes those that me be introduced in a SSL class. They are organized according to their linguistic field. On the other hand, those features have been classified by MCER’s six levels taking into account their difficulty, the advantages they have on students’ development, students’ needs and previous knowledge. Traditionally, colloquial Spanish was only taught in the most advanced levels, nevertheless, our work, so as to last investigations, opt for implementing some of them in intermediate and even initial levels. In addition, it highlights the relevance of addressing phonetic, non-verbal and conversational characteristics, besides the acknowledged lexical and grammatical ones.
