Abstract
La escritora romana Adriana Assini ha centrado su producción literaria en rescatar figuras históricas que son ejemplo de superación, resiliencia y que han sido juzgados negativamente en su tiempo. Por este motivo, examinaremos cómo la autora aborda la imagen de Giulia Tofana, una mujer que ha pasado a la Historia como una de las máximas envenenadoras y que ha sido tratada injustamente por la historiografía. Para ello, analizaremos el uso de la maldad como un instrumento de subversión femenina en la novela Giulia Tofana. Gli amori, i veleni.
The Italian writer Adriana Assini has focused her literary work on recovering historical figures, mostly known for their resilience and self-improvement but also for being negatively represented during their time. On this basis, we will study the author's approach to Giulia Tofana’s image, a woman who has gone down in history as one of the greatest poisoners and who has been unfairly treated by historiography. For this purpose, we will analyze the use of evil as a means of female subversion in the novel Giulia Tofana. Gli amori, i veleni.
