Abstract
En el presente artículo se analizan las primeras referencias sobre el género flamenco publicadas en la prensa local oscense durante el último cuarto del siglo XIX, relacionándolas con la difusión y desarrollo que se producía al mismo tiempo en el resto del país. De este modo, se pretende reflejar el temprano arraigo del flamenco en la ciudad de Huesca, que ha perdurado hasta nuestros días. Además, se reflexiona acerca de la importancia de la hemerografía histórica como fuente musicológica para el estudio del flamenco
In this article, first references of the genre published in local press in Huesca during the last quarter of the 19th century are analysed in order to link them to their diffusion and development over the rest of the country. In this way, the aim is to reflect the early roots of the flamenco genre in Huesca that have lasted until today. In addition, we consider the importance of hemerography as a musicologist source for the study of the flamenco genre
