dc.description.abstract	: In this article we will deal with the use of different images, such as light and its decomposition in different colors, the sea and waves, the movement of a flame of fire and the mirror and reflections, both in Buddhism and in Sufism to expose different facets of what we can define, depending on each philosophical context, such as the relationship between absolute reality and relative reality, between unity and multiplicity, between the invisible source of being and manifest existence, between infinity and finiteness, between God and creation, between enlightenment and ignorance, and even between the still mind –or thoughtless– and the thinking or moving mind. But we will not directly compare the doctrines of the Sufi and Buddhist traditions, because they are based on very different philosophical presuppositions, but rather we will focus on the application of these images, which, as with all metaphors and allegories, can show us aspects of the structure of reality that we are not able to discern by other means.	en
dc.description.abstract	En este artículo vamos a tratar el tema del uso de las diferentes imágenes, como la luz y su descomposición en diferentes colores; el mar y las olas; el movimiento de una llama de fuego; y el espejo y sus reflejos, tanto en el budismo como en el sufismo. La finalidad es exponer las diferentes facetas de lo que podemos definir, dependiendo de cada contexto filosófico, tales como la relación entre la realidad absoluta y la realidad relativa; entre unidad y multiplicidad; entre la fuente invisible del ser y la existencia manifiesta, entre lo infinito y lo finito, entre Dios y la creación; entre el conocimiento y la ignorancia; e incluso entre la mente quiescente –o inconsciente – y el raciocinio o mente inquienta. No obstante, no vamos a comparar directamente las doctrinas de las tradiciones budistas y sufíes, porque están basadas en premisas filosóficas muy diferentes; sino más bien nos centraremos en la aplicación de estas imágenes que, como en el caso de todas las metáforas y alegorías, nos pueden mostrar aspectos de la estructura de la realidad que no somos capaces de discernir a través de otros significados/ por otros medios.	es
