dc.description.abstract	En este artículo se analiza la crítica social, a finales del siglo XIX en España, ejercida a través de una obra del Género Chico: Ortografía. Se trata de una revista musical de Carlos Arniches, Gonzalo Cantó y el compositor Ruperto Chapí, estrenada en Madrid en 1888. Música, texto y puesta en escena constituyen el marco de atención en el que recursos retóricos, escénicos y musicales componen una sátira social, a partir del simbolismo asignado a las letras del alfabeto y a los signos de puntuación. El estudio del libreto y de la partitura muestra cómo la mirada antropológica y la crítica social son las verdaderas protagonistas de la obra, donde se critica a los políticos y a la sociedad o se emplea la sátira contra las mujeres y la invasión de las costumbres extranjeras	es
dc.description.abstract	In this article, the social criticism of the end of the 19th century in Spain is analyzed, which is practiced through a work of the Género Chico (literary ‘little genre’): Ortografía. It is a revista musical by Carlos Arniches, Gonzalo Cantó and the composer Ruperto Chapí, released in Madrid in 1888. Music, text and staging constitute the frame of attention where the rhetorical, dramatic and musical resources compose a social satire from the symbolism allocated to the letters of the alphabet and to the punctuation marks. From the study of the libretto and the score, we will show how the anthropological look and the social criticism are true protagonists of the work, where politicians and society are criticized or the satire is used against women and the invasion of foreign customs	es
