Description
Abstract
In this article, the tutors who have implemented the initial module in the new Primary Teacher Training degree at the Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences (Mondragon Unibertsitatea) describe how it has been carried out, and reflect on the whole experience. This module is divided in two parts and it is understood as a twofold training process. First of all, it is identified as the basis of a training process in autonomous learning, and towards a profile of the learners as professionals and citizens. Secondly, this process is valued as the initial training of the students in different aspects like self‐reflection, diagnosis and personal and professional competence construction. It also starts training them on social, pedagogical and methodological guidance that will be developed throughout the degree.
