Abstract
El pensamiento del profesor y su actividad en la clase son un
medio para comprender la enseñanza. La interpretación de
este pensamiento es una de las bases para diseñar
propuestas de formación y perfeccionamiento del
profesorado en los centros de formación inicial y permanente
del profesorado. El trabajo presentado es de una
investigación llevada a cabo con estudiantes para profesores
de la especialidad de Matemáticas y Física de la Facultad de
Educación de la Universidad de Piura-Perú. El estudio se
realiza con la finalidad de identificar sus Concepciones sobre
las Matemáticas y su Enseñanza- Aprendizaje. A este
respecto, la investigación puede tomarse como línea de base
para un curso de práctica profesional con la finalidad de
mejorar el desempeño en el aula de los futuros profesores y
para elaborar programas de formación continua.
Teachers' thinking and their activity in class constitute a means of understanding teaching. The interpretation of this thinking is one of the bases for designing education proposals in centres of initial and continuing teacher education. The work presented describes a study conducted with prospective teachers specializing in Mathematics and Physics in the Education Faculty of the University of Piura, Peru. The objective of the study was to identify their conceptions about mathematics and its teaching and learning.
