Abstract
RESUMEN En esta comunicación examino una serie de conceptos medulares de la modernidad, como son “sujeto”, “libertad” y “felicidad”, entre otros, desde la perspectiva de Ágnes Heller y Hannah Arendt, firmes defensoras de la modernidad, frente a algunas de las críticas que han recibido tales conceptos durante la llamada postmodernidad, con el fin de diagnosticar qué queda de la modernidad y, si, después de todo, paradójicamente, no es la modernidad la que ha sobrevivido a la postmodernidad.
ABSTRACT In this communication I examine a series of fundamental concepts of the modernity, since they are "subject", "freedom" and "happiness", between others, from the perspective of Ágnes Heller and Hannah Arendt, firm defenders of the modernity, opposite to some of the critiques that have received such concepts during the so called postmodernity, in order it diagnoses what stays of the modernity and, if, after everything, paradoxically, it is not the modernity the one that has survived the postmodernity.
