Description
Abstract
We will establish the linguistic-discursive characteristics of the so-called populist discourse using the conception of constructivist rhetoric. We will attend to the process of narrativization, metaphors and emotions as parts of populist rhetoric. In addition, we will elucidate whether there is a populism of rights and a different one of lefts based on the theories of Laclau, Mouffe and Jorge Alemán, discussing in this way the hegemonic posture
