Abstract
Se analizan desde una perspectiva literaria las influencias herodoteas en las Historias de Curcio Rufo. Las escenas de la derrota de Darío y el avance de Alejandro Magno presentan rasgos propios de la historia de Creso desde un ángulo simplista. Esa simplicidad, el tema no romano, así como la composición de la obra por medio de escenas aisladas permiten explicar la falta de una "Weltanschauung" en torno al concepto de fortuna.
We propose an analysis of the herodotean influences and echoes in Curtius Rufus' Histories from a literary perspective. The scenes of Darius defeat and the advance of Alexander the Great are permeated by a simplistic version of the history of Croesus. This simplification of the herodotean thought, the no roman argument, and the composition of the Histories by means of isolated scenes are the causes of the lack of autorial sense in the concept of fortuna.
