Abstract
El objetivo del siguiente ar-
tículo es el de rastrear la presencia de
Jorge Luis Borges en la génesis de la
obra El año del verano que nunca llegó,
del escritor colombiano William Ospina.
La influencia del escritor argentino es
patente en la obra, a través de citas, re-
ferencias y alusiones a su vida. Sin em-
bargo, antes de que la idea comenzara a
materializarse, hubo un momento en el
que la inspiración invadió a Ospina y
Borges estaba presente. Para advertirlo,
es necesario rastrear en los hechos na-
rrados en El año del verano que nuncallegó y también en la conferencia que
impartió dentro del Congreso Iberoa-
mericano de Educación. Metas 2021,
bajo el nombre de “Preguntas para una
nueva educación”. Dentro de esta pers-
pectiva múltiple llegamos a una conclu-
sión: la presencia de Borges en la géne-
sis de la obra de Ospina es continua,
constante, y muy importante.
The aim of this paper is to trace the presence of Jorge Luis Borges in the genesis of El año del verano que nunca llegó, work of the Colombian writer William Ospina. The influence of the Argentine writer is evident through quotes, references and allusions to his life. However, before the idea began to materialize, there was a moment, when inspiration invaded Ospina, in wich Bor- ges was already present. To warn this, it is necessary to trace the events narrat- ed in El año del verano que nunca llegóand also in the conference that Willliam Ospina gave in the Congreso Iberoamer- icano de Educación. Metas 2021, under the name «Preguntas para una nueva educación». Within this multiple per- spective, we come to a conclusion: the presence of Borges in the genesis of Ospina ́s work is continuos, constant, and very importan.
