Carlos LERENA ALESÓN, sociólogo
de la cultura y de la educación, un intelectual de nuestra época, murió hace diez años. En este artículo, la autora, profesora de Política de la Educación y amiga de Carlos LERENA, recoge los temas más representativos de su obra "Escuela, ideología y clases sociales en España", y recomienda su estudio en la formación del profesorado y de los pedagogos/as y psicopedagoga/os.
Carlos LERENA realizó una gran contribución
en el campo de la educación: estudió las relaciones del poder, la cultura y las clases sociales con la educación, cuando España vivía en el franquismo y no tenía un gobierno democrático y de libertades.
Su obra es un elemento importante para
comprender la educación y las funciones sociales (ideológicas) del sistema de enseñanza.
Summary: Carlos LERENA ALESÓN, sociologist of the culture and education, -an intellectual of our epoch-, he died ten years ago. In this article, the authoress, a ticher of Politic of the Education and Carlos Lerena's friend, summarises the more representative themes of his book "Escuela, ideología y clases sociales en España", and recommends its study in the formation of teachers, pedagogues and educators. Carlos LERENA, made a great contribution in the world of the education: he studied the relations between the political power, the culture and the social classes with the education, when spain lived in the "franquismo" and it had not a democratic government. His work is an important element in order to understand the education and the ideological functions or the teaching system.
