Description
Abstract
The town of Ronda has had a very important part in the creation of flamenco art. In addition to being a destination for artists and fans of all the flamenco arts, in this town specific chants originated, like the caña, the polo, the rondeña and the serrana among others. Apart from this, Ronda was the first town to develop venues dedicated to flamenco shows; they were called Cafés Cantante.
