Abstract
Resumen: En su encuentro con Moisés, Jadir (Ḫaḍir / Ḫiḍr) comparó la imagen del ave que sumerge su pico en el mar para beber agua al conocimiento que ambos poseían con respecto al conocimiento de Dios. Aunque podemos descubrir el infinito poco a poco, aquello que está definido por un punto de vista particular del conocimiento nunca será capaz de comprender la estación infinita y desconocida. En diferentes ocasiones, Ibn ʿArabī relaciona la estación espiritual de la no-estación con la aleya coránica: “¡Oh gentes de Yaṯrib, no tenéis estación! ¡Regresad pues!” (C. 33:13). ¿Quiénes son los habitantes de Yaṯrib, qué significa no tener ninguna estación y en qué consiste su retorno? A continuación, veremos en particular el capítulo de al-Futūḥāt al-makkiyya titulado «Sobre el conocimiento del lugar intermedio de reunión (munāzala) donde acontece la liberación de las estaciones espirituales», del que ofrecemos una inédita traducción íntegra.
Abstract: In his encounter with Moses, Khadir (Khidr) compared the image of a bird dipping its beak into the sea to drink water to the knowledge that both possessed in relation to the knowledge of God. Although we can gradually discover the infinite, that which is defined by a particular point of view of knowledge will never be able to comprehend the infinite and unknown station. On different occasions, Ibn ʿArabī relates the spiritual station of non-station to the Quranic verse: "O people of Yathrib, you have no station! Return!" (Q. 33:13). Who are the inhabitants of Yathrib, what does it mean to have no station, and what does their return consist of? Next, we will look particularly at the chapter from al-Futūḥāt al-makkiyya titled "On the Knowledge of the Intermediate Place of Assembly (munāzala) where the Liberation of Spiritual Stations Occurs," from which we offer an unpublished complete translation.
