Description
Abstract
The main purpose of this line of research is to know the practice carried out in the History classrooms; on the other hand, the objective of this article is «the study of the use of the resources of the socio-cultural environment and the use of the present in the classrooms of History of Spain». The non-experimental, descriptive methodology, and the selection of the sample by clusters and quotas, has allowed to reach 41 participants from 25 of the 136 Secondary Education centers of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia (Spain) in the 2014-2015 academic year, using an open opinion questionnaire. The results show the almost total use of quotations to the present by teachers in their classrooms, the integration of heritage in education in the first periods of the History of Spain, the viewing of television series for the understanding of ways of life , especially in the current history, together with the stories of the people who lived the current political events. Likewise, results show the existence of others unassessed learning and the importance of these resources in the general citizen formation.
