Description
Abstract
In this work we carry out a contrastive analysis about metaphoric semantic mechanisms which work in the Spanish, Icelandic and Russian phraseology. Also we show the typological classification of the metaphors which are present in the phraseology unities, in order to find a systematic rule in the producing process of phraseologies and metaphors. The research is applied to three notional fields: ´fear`, to be hungry` and ´to eat a lot`. We have based on Iconic Models and Archimetaphors by A. Pamies and E. Mª Iñesta, which are considered an application of the conceptual metaphoric model by G. Lakoff and M. Johnson.
