Abstract
----------------
In this work, some places in Carmen Paschale are analysed; where the person of the narrator is revealed through irruptions of narratological sense, that can provide light for the understanding of the poem. The narrator shows himself among his verses in different modes: sometimes his voice is programmatic to explain the argument or the chosen form; others, exegetical or with a pragmatic function, as when it implicitly tries to be equated with the accounts of the evangelists. Some narrative strategies stand out that the unity of the story and the balanced structure of the mirabilia of the Old and New Testaments. For all these reasons, we conclude that the narrator appears in the poem as the main character of a different storyline from the narrative diegesis of miracles.
