dc.description.abstract	En la actualidad España se encuentra comprometida de forma simultánea en dos situaciones sociales que se caracterizan por su pluriculturalidad: la construcción de Europa y las inmigraciones de carácter económico provenientes de los países más empobrecidos del planeta. Sin embargo, estos fenómenos reciben un tratamiento claramente diferenciador, en consonancia con las directrices europeas, tanto por parte del Estado como por la propia población española. En el texto se realiza una aproximación a la realidad inmigrante en Europa, así corno a la política de inmigración emprendida en este contexto y, más concretamente, en el ámbito español. Posteriormente, se ofrece una panorámica general de las principales causas de malestar social del colectivo inmigrante en España, a través de un recorrido por los pilares básicos del Estado del Bienestar: trabajo, vivienda, sanidad, servicios sociales y educación.	es
dc.description.abstract	Abstract: Nowadays, Spain is simultaneously involved in tho social situations characterised by their multiculture: the construction of Europe and the economic character immigrations from the poorest countries in thc world. Nevertheless, these phenomena are dealt with in a clearly different way, in accordance with European guidcelines, so much from the part of the state as from the spanish population. An approach to the immigrant reality in Europe is offered in the text, together with the immigration policy regarding this matter and more specifically, in the spanish area. Later on, we are offered a general view of the main reasons for the social discomfort of the immigrant colective in Spain, in a journey through the basic mainstays of the Welfare State: Work, housing, health, social services and education
