Abstract
El presente artículo se propone, a través del análisis de los
cambios introducidos en los Planes de estudios que más
incidencia tienen sobre la enseñanza de las lenguas vivas
(1900, 1926, 1934, 1938, 1953/1957, 1970 y 1990),
destacar las tendencias evolutivas o las líneas maestras
que configuran el concepto del Francés como Lengua
Extranjera en tanto que disciplina escolar Se abordan así,
en una presentación cronológica, las siguientes cuestiones:
la regulación de la materia en sus aspectos “materiales”
(horario, cursos), el concepto “social” e “institucional”
de la disciplina (en conexión con el resto de las lenguas
vivas) y, finalmente, los objetivos-contenidos didácticos y
las orientaciones metodológicas presentes en los textos
oficiales.
This paper analyses the teaching of French in Spain through the different Curricula during the 20th century in order to establish the main trends that have consolidated the French language as a subject of study. In a chronological survey, the following issues are addressed: organisation of the subject (number of hours/week; classes, courses), social and institutional concept of the discipline, objectives and syllabuses, and methodological orientations in official textbooks. This study highlights the main patterns and tendencies in the evolution of French as a subject in Spain.
