Abstract
Este trabajo trata de la evolución musical acontecida en el acompañamiento de
los cantes mineros, contraponiendo el modo clásico o al actual. Partiendo de una
selección de cuatro cantes mineros, acompañados por dos guitarristas de
generaciones distintas, con estilos y recursos, a priori, diferentes, Antonio Piñana y
Carlos Piñana, analizaremos los elementos musicales puestos en juego por cada uno,
señalando al tiempo las posibles influencias recibidas de estilos musicales ajenos al
flamenco en el segundo de ellos.
This work deals with the musical evolution that has taken place in the accompaniment of “cantes mineros”, confronting the classical or traditional mode with the current one. The starting point is a selection of four “cantes mineros”, which are accompanied by two guitarists, Antonio Piñana and Carlos Piñana, belonging to two different generations, and who have both, a priory, a different style and use different resources. We will analyze the musical elements put into play by each guitarist, while pointing out the possible influences received from musical styles unrelated with flamenco by the younger one.
