Abstract
La exclusión social de un país es de gran importancia debido a los riesgos
y a los desencadenantes que produce actualmente en planos tan importantes como
es el de la educación. Para ello, los países cuentan con una serie de medios para
hacer frente a esta situación, en los que los factores escolares y personales del
alumnado han pasado a jugar un papel muy importante a causa de su
interrelación. Tras un breve repaso de los conceptos y factores principales de la
exclusión social, mostrando las amenazas a las que se enfrenta en este siglo XXI,
se expone, de manera exhaustiva, la situación de la misma en el ámbito de la
educación, mostrando tanto sus dimensiones como las situaciones en las que se
produce en las escuelas. Asimismo, se analiza la situación actual y la posición
que ocupa España respecto a otros países de la Unión Europea así como las
diferencias que se encuentran entre las distintas Comunidades Autónomas de
nuestro país.
The social exclusion of a country is pretty important, due to the risks and the consequences that have in appreciable aspects, as education. In this way, every country has a way to face this situation. Nowadays student educational and personal factors are playing a tremendous role that they have never played before, because of theirs correlations. After a short review of the main concepts and factors, which are causing the social exclusion, we can notice the threats it should cope in the XXI century with. Thoroughly we are able to notice the social exclusion concerning to the education, advising not only theirs aspects, but also the situations in which it is produced in the schools. In addition, we can study the current situation and the status where Spain is placed, not only compare to others countries in the European Union, but also the differences between the regions in our country.
