dc.description.abstract	Resumen: La mujer es el personaje principal de la poesía, pues de poesía se trata, de Georges Brassens. Heredero digno de los trovadores, de Villon, de Marot, de Ronsard y de tantos otros, el poeta ha cantado a la mujer con pasión, humor y sensibilidad. La mujer símbolo de la vida se opone a la “Camarde” (la muerte) con una única arma: el amor. Amor que es también su fuerza y su debilidad. No todas las mujeres son modelos de bondad o de pureza. Algunas son arpías, otras prostitutas, otras esposas y amantes fieles (o no…), pero todas son mujeres y eso es suficiente para, si no amarlas, por lo menos respetarlas. Léxico obsoleto, argot crudo o lengua culta, Brassens domina la lengua francesa para que nuestro disfrute sea pleno y satisfactorio, y si además la risa (o la sonrisa un poco forzada) acompaña esa explosión de ideas y sentimientos pues mucho mejor.	es
dc.description.abstract	Abstract: Women are the main characters in George Brassens’ songs. As a worthy poet in the tradition of the troubadours: Villon, Marot, Ronsard and many more, he has made up songs devoted to women with passion, umour and sensibility. Women, symbols of life, fight the “Camarde” (death) with one and only tool: love. A type of love that implies both strength and weakness at the same time. Not all women are prototypes of generosity and purity. Some are harpies, some prostitutes, some loyal wives and lovers (or the opposite), but whatever the case, they are all women and therefore worthy of love, and if not love, at least respect. It is immaterial whether he employs obsolete lexis, plain dialect or elevated language, Brassens always shows a command of the French language for our enjoyment. And it is even better when he combines laughter (or a slightly forced smile) with this explosion of ideas and feelings.	en
