Abstract
En las cinco novelas griegas conservadas completas se amplifican con frecuencia
algunos de los elementos que constituyen los relatos en ellas contenidos (persona,
hecho, circunstancia, lugar y modo) hasta constituir écfrasis retóricas como se
describen en los Progymnasmata. Se analizan aquí dichas écfrasis, su función y
sus rasgos formales y de estilo.
In the five extant Greek novels some of the elements of narrative (person, event, time, place and manner) are often amplified in order to become rhetorical ekphraseis as described in the Progymnasmata. In this paper these ekphraseis, their function and their formal and stylistic characteristics are analysed.
