Description
Abstract
The Association Wind Mills of Torre-Pacheco established in the year 2000 has been able in a short period of time to become an active group in this town in the recovery of these signifi cant devices, in the kinds of fl our mills and water elevation. We refer to the establishment of exaltation fi estas, romerias, eating rites, elections of millers of honor, proclamation of Saint Michael as the patron Saint of the millers honoring the distinguished writer Michael of Cervantes who immortalized them in his Quixote, etc. This has contributed to the effective rehabilitation by the Town Hall of these peculiar elements of our fi eld with the technical advice of the members of the association.
