Abstract
Se acaba de implantar en España una controvertida medida que obliga a las empresas a llevar a
cabo un registro diario de la jornada de trabajo de sus empleados. En el presente artículo se
analizan los aspectos prácticos de este nuevo régimen jurídico al mismo tiempo que se ofrecen
propuestas para que la implantación de esta forma de control se realice sin generar un coste
demasiado elevado para las empresas ni suscitar conflictos con los representantes legales de los
trabajadores.
A controversial measure has just been introduced in Spain requiring companies to keep a daily record of their employees' working hours. This article analyzes the practical aspects of this new legal regime and at the same time offers proposals for the implementation of this form of control without generating too high a cost for the companies or raising conflicts with the legal representatives of the workers.
