Abstract
Desde la aparición a finales de los sesenta del feminismo
académico, los estudios de género han recorrido un trayecto
largo y polémico. También se ha incorporado, en algunos
casos, la voz de las mujeres no académicas. Y se han conseguido
medidas de igualdad que se han incorporado al
ámbito público y privado.
Las relaciones asimétricas de poder, que pervierten los procesos
académicos y educativos democráticos, siguen sin ser
una prioridad en la agenda política. Y sus consecuencias,
como la violencia de género, son una realidad sin resolver.
Since the appearance of academic feminism in the late sixties, gender studies have travelled a long, controversial path. It has also incorporated the voices of non-academic women in some cases. And equality reforms have been achieved that have been incorporated into public and private spheres. Asymmetrical power relations, which pervert academic and democratic education, are still high on the political agenda. And its consequences, such as genderbased violence are an unresolved reality.
