Introduction: Patient safety culture is a key element in improving healthcare quality, as it directly influences the prevention of adverse eventsAim:To identify the main research evaluating patient safety culture between 2014 and the first quarter of 2024.Materials and Methods: A descriptive bibliometric analysis was conducted using data from the Scopus database and VOS viewer 1.6.20 software to analyze scientific production, co-authorship networks, and institutional leadership. Results: The results show a significant increase in publications since 2020, coinciding with the COVID-19 pandemic. A total of 93.5% of the studies employ a quantitative approach, with the Hospital Survey on Patient Safety Culture (HSOPSC) being the most frequently used tool for measuring patient safety culture. The United States, China, and Spain lead scientific production in this field, while participation from Latin American countries remains limited. The analysis also highlights the importance of organizational processes and continuous quality improvement in evaluating patient safety culture. Moreover, a predominance of collaborative work is observed, indicating that interdisciplinary research is crucial for advancing in this area. Conclusion: There is an upward trend in publications, collaborative work for scientific development, and low participation from Latin American countries. A preference for quantitative studies over qualitative or mixed-method research is evident among authors

Introduction:During adolescence, the foundations of figure and appearance are laid, and constructs such as self-concept, self-esteem and body image make sense. It is a stage of evolutionary development characterized by the search and consolidation of one's own identity, in the development and acquisition of which social networks have a considerable influence. Objective: To analyze the available scientific evidence on the influence of social networks on adolescents' body image. Methods:An Integrative review of the literature published in the last 5 years, carried out between January and March 2024, in the databases Pubmed, Psicodoc, CINAHL, Cuiden, Scopus and Web of Science databases, following the phased process of the PRISMA statement. The search covered the period January to March 2024. We used health sciences descriptors (DeCS) "mental health", "adolescent", "social network", "self-image", "body image", "Internet addiction disorder" and their English equivalents (MeSH). The AND and OR operators were used to combine them. A total of 19 articles were included. Results: 19 articles were identified through the established selection criteria. The results indicated that there is a relationship between excessive use of social media and a low assessment of body image among adolescents. Conclusions:Excessive use of social network negatively influences the self-esteem and self-concept of adolescents. The most used social networks with the greatest impact on the health and well-being of young people is Instagram followed by YouTube. Furthermore, it has been seen that there are differences in the use and impact that these have between girls and boys, with the former being the most affected and those who spend the most time.

Objective: To identify which components of semantic memory are predictors of cognitive impairment in older adults.Material and Methods: Quantitative and predictive study, conducted on a non-probabilistic sample of 160 older adults in Metropolitan Lima, with an average age of 74.7 years, who were evaluated with the Mini-Mental Status Examination (MMSEA) on the Semantic Memory Evaluation Battery for Adults (EMSEA).Results: 20.7% of the sample presented cognitive impairment. Regarding semantic memory, 23.4% obtained a low level, 49.4% an intermediate level and 27.2% a high level. According to the multivariate model, the factors associated to cognitive impairment were the semantic memory subtests: Picture Naming, Attributes Recognition and Verification of True or False Statements (R2 = 30.8%, p≤.001). These results are reflected with a complementary network analysis, where the centrality analysis indicated that the Verbal Fluency task and Verification of True or False Statements, are the frameworks of greatest interest. Conclusions:The existence of associated factors of semantic memory that better predict cognitive deterioration are Picture Naming, Attributes Recognition and Verification of True or False Statements.

(Universidad de Murcia. Servicio de publicaciones, 2025) Lailatun Nimah; Nursalam Nursalam; Andri Setiya Wahyud; Herdina Mariyanti; Duangporn Piyakong; Sin departamento asociado
Aim: To explore the experience of haemodialysis patients in Indonesia over a decade, amidst changes in the cost system in hospitals. Since its implementation, the Universal Health Coverage (UHC) policy has significantly influenced haemodialysis services in hospitals, affecting patients' experiences.Material and Methods: Qualitative study. Twenty-two haemodialysis patients selected by snowball sampling from the Indonesian Dialysis Patient Community (Komunitas Pasien Cuci Darah Indonesia) participated. Data were collected through interviews, transcribed and analysed thematically, and psychological methods based on patients' experiences were used. Results: identified three main themes (health coverage system, haemodialysis services, haemodialysis facilities) and ten sub-themes (complex monthly payment situation for care recipients, unexpected deactivation of payment status, outdated referral system requirements, payment system complications for care recipients, penalty for late payments, disparities in services between hospitals, insufficient coverage for certain services, accessibility problems with distant haemodialysis units, variations in types of haemodialysis equipment, and inadequate comfort in the family waiting room). Conclusions:The health insurance system needs to be improved to increase access, equity, affordability, efficiency, consistency and quality of haemodialysis services in Indonesian hospitals. Collaborative efforts by the government, health institutions and related parties are essential
