Impact of VO2max on mechanical variables, lactic acid concentration and shooting accuracy of the 7-meter throw among handball players
(Universidad de Murcia, Servicio de Publicaciones, 2022) Alkhawaldeh, Ibtehal M.
The aim of this study was to determine the effect of various VO2 max rates on mechanical variables, lactic acid concentration, and shooting accuracy of the 7-meter throw among handball players. The experimental method consisted of two experiments: one for calculating the VO2 max in the laboratory and another for testing the shooting accuracy of the 7-meter throw. A total of 36 handball players who specialized in shooting the 7-meter throw participated in the current study. They were divided into three equal groups in terms of training age, VO2 max level and the shooting accuracy of the 7-meter throw at rest time. Their average age was 24.1±3.2 years, their height was 177±23 cm, and their weight was 72±4.3 kg. We used three Canon Eos 80D cameras, a Scout Cortex lactate device, and Kinovea 0.9.5 software for performance evaluation. The study's results revealed a statistically significant effect of multiple rates of VO2 max on some mechanical variables, lactic acid concentration, and shooting accuracy of the 7-meter throw among handball players, with a negative effect that increases when the rates of VO2 max become greater at the level of significance (α = 0.00). In light of the study's results, the researcher advised handball coaches to work on increasing their players' VO2 max levels or delaying their players' access to higher levels of VO2 max to avoid an increase in the concentration of lactic acid in the blood and, as a result, a decrease in the players' abilities to perform the 7-meter throw skill. According to the results of this study, they should also consider the use of pauses and substitutions during matches to ensure that players do not reach levels of up to 65% of VO2 max.

Circuit training using elastic band: Can it improve the direction-changing agility of Kabaddi athletes?
(Universidad de Murcia, Servicio de Publicaciones, 2022) Utama, Made Bang Redy; Sugiharto, Sugiharto; Hidayah, Taufiq; Mukarromah, Siti Baitul; Sutoro, Sutoro
The ability to quickly change direction is important for kabaddi players, as it is crucial for building points and defeating opponents. The aim of this study was to determine the speed increase during change of direction after circuit training by using elastic bands with different resistance loads. We used the experimental design (pretest-posttest method). The sample consisted of 44 male Kabaddi athletes younger than 20 years old and belonging to the Junior Elite level in kabaddi, from Bali Province, Indonesia. They were divided into 4 groups based on circuit training intensity and elastic band resistance load. Each athlete received a 6-week treatment program. The data were processed through the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS), version 24.0 (IBM, USA). The results showed that there is a statistically significant relationship between circuit training using elastic band and the athlete’s speed in changing direction. Also, it is evident that the training program with a series of high-intensity exercises using an elastic band with a resistance load of 2.27 kgf increased the speed in changing direction by 13.74%.

Management of pedagogical and sports educational institutions in Ukraine
(Universidad de Murcia, Servicio de Publicaciones, 2022) Kubitskyi, Serhii; Saienko, Volodymyr; Demianiuk, Viktor; Mykhasiuk, Kateryna
The educational system is an essential component and determinant of social development since education functioning quality determines and forms the intellectual potential of society. This article aimed to identify the main trends and promising areas of optimization of the managing process of pedagogical and sports educational institutions. We studied the tendencies of reforming the management process in the educational sphere and the application of modern approaches to the management of pedagogical and sports educational institutions, as well as areas of reforming the academic sphere. This practical, cross-sectional study was carried out through an online survey of 37 managers and teachers of sports and pedagogical educational institutions located in Ukraine. Our study showed that the management process of sports and pedagogical educational institutions can be effective only if it is scientifically substantiated and implemented following the goals of strategic development of educational institutions. The functioning of the management mechanism is based on the understanding of management as a particular function that ensures the feasibility and quality of an educational institution's management. Management approaches are focused on studying the relationships between the components of the management system, external and internal conditions of the institution, and the results of its activities.

Systemic interaction between educators of choreographic disciplines under distance learning conditions
(Universidad de Murcia, Servicio de Publicaciones, 2022) Yatsenko, Olha; Khomiachyk, Ilona; Hladka, Liudmyla; Vasina, Nadiia; Koresandovych, Natalia; Slupska, Nataliia
Distance learning is an essential component of modern choreographic education under quarantine restrictions. It puts new tasks in front of the academic teaching staff, administrators, managers, and other educational process participants; it demands new rules of interaction. The aim of this study was to identify the main problems and difficulties encountered in choreographic education under distance learning conditions, as well as to present a set of teaching activities intended to alleviate rejection and anxiety about the changes in teaching by all educational process participants. The article highlights several activities to find ways to enhance interaction between teachers and accompanists. We used a comprehensive approach to methodology: descriptive method, analysis, and synthesis to consider the theoretical foundations, statistical methods (qualitative and quantitative), the method of questioning, as well as the method of a pedagogical experiment - collection, description and analysis of the practical results of behavioral research. Choreographic education needs close interaction between all participants in the educational process under distance learning conditions. The latter relieves stress and improves the attitude to the work of the choreographer within the conditions changed due to quarantine restrictions. This interaction is facilitated by using the possibilities of digital space and the virtualization of the educational process. Further research should consider successful forms and methods of teaching choreography under distance learning conditions and look for effective ways of improving the interaction between all participants in the educational process.

Is spinopelvic sagittal alignment correlated with pain level, functional disability and frontal plane projection angle in women with patellofemoral pain syndrome? A cross-sectional study
(Universidad de Murcia, Servicio de Publicaciones, 2022) ElMelhat, Ahmed M.; Youssef, Ahmed S.A.; Abbas, Rami L.; Ali, Ahmed S.; Hamad, Hamada Ahmed; Magdy Ahmed, Sara; Zahran, Samah Saad
There is a growing interest concerning the understanding of measurements of spinal and leg alignment in patients with patellofemoral pain syndrome (PFPS). However, evaluating spinopelvic alignment in the sagittal plane with pain level, functional disability and frontal plane projection angle (FPPA) in PFPS has not been adequately addressed. The aim of the study was to identify the correlation of spinopelvic parameters with pain level, functional disability and frontal plane projection angle in women with PFPS. This was a cross–sectional study involving sixty female patients diagnosed with PEPS, with a mean age of 32±6.47. The measurements used in the study included: radiographic parameters (X-Ray), the numeric pain rating scale (NPRS), the Arabic anterior knee pain scale (AAKP/Kujala) and the 2D-FPPA. Spearman correlation analysis was conducted to evaluate the relationship between these parameters. The results of our study demonstrated a strong positive correlation of lumbar lordosis (LL) with pain level and FPPA (r=0.825, r=0.812, p=0.0001). Also, a strong positive correlation of sacral slope (SS) with pain level (r = 0.0.820) and FPPA (r= 0.783). Pelvic tilt (PT) showed a moderate correlation with pain level (r = 0.0.614) and FPPA (r= 0.605), while a weak negative correlation was found between LL, SS and PT and functional disability score (r=-0.397, r=-0.385 and, r=-0.215 p=0.002). It was concluded that LL, SS and PT were significantly related to the pain level, functional disability and frontal plane projection angle in women with PFPS. These spinal alignments should be considered in clinical evaluation of knee-related disorders associated with PFPS.
