Developing a social participation model in Iran’s sports for all
(Murcia: Servicio de Publicaciones de la Universidad de Murcia, 2019) Javadipoor, Mohammad; Zareian, Hossein; Parsaju, Ali
The present study aims to design a social participation model in Iran’s sports for all. Based on the exploratory nature of the research subject, the study method was qualitative and a grounded theory strategy was carried out to design a social participation model in Iran’s sports for all. Sampling was purposive and had a snowball method. The theoretical saturation was obtained after 27 deep and semi-structured interviews with knowledgeable experts, and then major categories were extracted after com-pleting a coding process. Results of open coding revealed that 811 initial indicators and 184 final indicators determined causal, underlying and in-tervening conditions, strategies and consequences of social participation in Iran’s sports for all. Final indicators were classified into 63 concepts and 28 categories in the axial coding, and finally identified categories result-ing from selective coding explained a social participation model in Iran’s sports for all.

Effect of passion for physical activity on (physical) burnout in student athletes
(Murcia: Servicio de Publicaciones de la Universidad de Murcia, 2019) Mahdavi Jafari, Zahra
The general aim of this study was to investigate the effect of pas-sion for physical activity on (physical) burnout in student athletes. The pre-sent study was of descriptive survey kind and based on structural equation modeling. The statistical population of this research was 350 physical edu-cation students from four state universities in Tehran. They were selected in a cluster-random way, and completed questionnaires on passion and burnout, of which 324 questionnaires were usable. The results indicated that obsessive passion with a regression coefficient of 0.23 and a T-statistics of 1.32 did not have a significant effect on the burnout of student athletes. However, the passion consistent with the regression coefficient (-0.66) and the T-statistics (-2.99) have a significant negative effect on the burnout of student athletes. Furthermore, the research model was adequately adjusted. Therefore, it is recommended that university administrators and executives implement and accelerate the planning and implementation of actions to inform students and control the negative consequences of these structures.

Designing a sport performance evaluation model in Khouzestan Province, Iran, with Interpretive Structural Modeling
(Murcia: Servicio de Publicaciones de la Universidad de Murcia, 2019) Mazarei, Ebrahim; Heydarinejad, Sedighe; Shafienia, Parvane; Zarra-Nezhad, Mansour
Any sport organization intensively needs a performance evalua-tion system to ensure the desirability of its activities, particularly in dyna-mic and complicated environments. The objective of this study was to use interpretive structural modeling (ISM) to propose a performance evalua-tion model for the youth and sports offices in Khuzestan Province, Iran. This is a quantitative study of descriptive-analytical type. The statistical population consisted of 120 scientific and executive experts. 60 individuals were invited to participate, and finally, 30 individuals were selected as the final respondents by purposive sampling method. The data measurement tool was a researcher-made questionnaire. Its validity was confirmed by the experts. Descriptive and inferential statistics methods were used to analyze the data. MATLAB was employed to analyze the data concerning the in-terpretive structural model. The results showed that most of the strategies are in the linked area according to the analysis of the influence power and dependence (MICMAC Table). Moreover, the results of the strategy classi-fication indicated that the most essential strategies were: strategies of sport preparation scheme, legislation, structural obstacles elimination, creation of the province sport strategic council, and strategic management approach.

The influence of 8 weeks of aerobic, strength and mixed exercises on the performance of short-term memory of women
(Murcia: Servicio de Publicaciones de la Universidad de Murcia, 2019) Delir, Amanda; Mohammadi, Farzaneh
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of 8 weeks of aerobic, strength and mixed exercise on short-term memory performance of women. It is a quasi-experimental study accomplished by a pre/post-test plan with three experimental groups and one control group. A total of 60 female volunteers were selected, randomly, allocated to four groups in-cluding: aerobic group, strength group, aerobic-strength group and control group. All the groups performed their training protocols. Measurement of short-term memory performance was done using memory span test in two steps pre and post of exercise sessions. Data was analyzed using dependent t-test and covariance test. Least significance difference (LSD) test was used to compare groups. The results suggest that 8 weeks of aerobic (p=0.001), strength (p=0.001) and strength-aerobic (0.029) exercise increases memory performance. The results of covariance test showed that 8 weeks of aerobic, strength and aerobic-strength exercise affect short-term memory of women differently. Also, the results of mean comparison test suggest that there is a significant difference between control, aerobic-strength and strength groups (p<0.05). Clinically speaking, these findings prove the importance of aerobic, strength, and aerobic-strength exercise in preserving and im-proving memory performance.
