- PublicationOpen AccessCarga de Trabajo, Motivación y Cumplimiento de Documentación Electrónica de Enfermería: Estudio Transversal en Indonesia(Universidad de Murcia : servicio de publicaciones, 2026) Amaliyah, Eli; Kartika Ashanty; Suganda, Tomi; Sin departamento asociadoBackground:The global adoption of electronic medical records (EMR) has changed the way nursing is documented. It aims to improve patientsafety and clinical efficiency. However, complying with these standards remains a challenge in countries like Indonesia. Objective:To examine the relationship between workload and job motivation, as well as nurses' compliance with electronic documentation in a provincial teaching hospital. Material and methods:A quantitative cross-sectional study was conducted with 90 inpatient nurses. Workload was measured using the NASA-TLX, motivation via Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, and documentation compliance through a retrospective audit. Data was analyzed using chi-square tests and binary logistic regression (p < 0.05). Results: Most nurses experienced high workload levels. A significant association was found between workload and compliance (p = 0.001). Low motivation significantly increased the risk of non-compliance (OR = 0.040; 95% CI 0.008-0.207), identifying it as the determining factor for compliance. Conclusion:The adherence of nursing staff to electronic documentation depends more on the workload than on personal motivation. It is essential to improve workload management and adapt the design of the EMR to nursing workflows to enhance the quality of documentation

Poor adherence to iron supplementation also leads to increased prevalence of maternal anaemia and low birth weight. Objective. This review to analyze the adherence or compliance to iron supplement intake among pregnant women. Methods. The study employed a systematic review and meta-analysis based on the PRISMA 2020 guidelines. During the article selection, the study applied inclusion criteria, such as original research articles conducted in Indonesia, using Indonesian or English language, and published between 2019 and 2024. Additionally, the articles must discuss the effect of adherence to iron supplement intake on the incidence of maternal anemia and low birth weight. They were systematically searched in the following databases: PubMed, Science Direct, Springer, Google Scholar, and Proquest. To facilitate the systematic review analysis, the Odds ratio (OR) was analyzed using Review Manager 5.4. Results. A total of 16 studies (10 articles on maternal anemia and 6 articles on low birth weight) were included in this meta-analysis. The results revealed that maternal anemia had a significant relationship with adherence to iron supplement intake (OR: 0.10, 95%CI 0.06 - 0.14; p-value <0.001) and also low birth weight (OR: 0.42, 95%CI 0.21 - 0.86; p-value: 0.02). Conclusion. Based on this finding, poor adherence to iron supplement intake significantly increase risk of maternal anemia and low birth weight.

Servicio de Publicaciones, 2024) Akbar, Amin; Karim, Zulakbal Abd; Zakaria, Jaffry; Azizuddin Khan, Thariq Khan; Osman, NoorzalizaFootball is the most popular sport in Indonesia and involves thousands of players and millions of spectators. As the sport continues to grow, it demands an accelerated development of players and adjustments to their needs. However, the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) has created a curriculum that only focuses on the physical, tactical, and technical aspects, ignoring the psychological aspect. This study aimed to investigate the role of psychology in the development of football players in Indonesia, focusing on the weaknesses of the current curriculum. The study was concentrated on the development and psychological characteristics that soccer players under 17 years of age require to maintain their performance into adulthood. The study used a grounded theory approach and semi-structured open questions in data collection. The sample included youth player-coaches with a minimum of 5 years of experience, as well as football players under the age of 17. These players typically begin practicing football at the age of 6 and continue until they reach 17 years old in Indonesia. The results of this study can be a reference for the PSSI and football coaches in Indonesia to create a comprehensive training program that includes physical, technical, tactical, and psychological aspects, enabling them to develop successful football players in the future.
- PublicationOpen AccessThe role of the Ki-67 labelling index as an independent prognostic factor in indonesian glioma patients(Universidad de Murcia, Departamento de Biologia Celular e Histiologia, 2025) Dwianingsih, Ery Kus; Pranacipta, Sofia; Theresia, Emilia; Safitri, Sekar; Hartanto, Rachmat Andi; Malueka, Rusdy GhazaliIntroduction. Gliomas are the most common type of brain tumor. However, interpreting glioma morphology is subjective, and identifying mitosis can be challenging. This can impact the determination of the patient's tumor grade, therapy, and prognosis. In addition, the Ki-67 expression level, which reflects the tumor cells' ability to proliferate, is closely related to the patient’s survival. This study aims to find a correlation between Ki-67 expression and the overall survival (OS) of glioma patients in the Indonesian population. Methods. Ninety-one glioma patients from Sardjito General Hospital were collected for formalin-fixed embedded paraffin (FFPE) samples, and the Ki-67 labeling index (LI) was calculated by determining the percentage of labeled nuclei per 1000 cells using a 40x objective lens in a randomized area (average method). The OS was calculated from the day of pathology diagnosis until death or the last follow-up (for censored cases). Kaplan-Meier survival analysis was used to analyze the OS. Results. Individuals aged ≥60 with high-grade tumors, infratentorial gliomas, and a Ki-67 LI ≥10% had a shorter OS. The p-values associated with these factors were 0.001, 0.018, and 0.006, respectively. In multivariate analysis, age and tumor grade did not significantly correlate with OS. Conclusion. Glioma patients with a Ki-67 LI ≥10% have a significantly shorter OS than those with a lower Ki-67 LI, indicating that Ki-67 LI is an independent prognostic factor in Indonesian glioma patients.
- PublicationOpen AccessYouth physical activity profile: A gender perspective(Servicio de Publicaciones. Universidad de Murcia, 2025) Wiriawan, Oce; Kusuma, Donny Ardy; Firmansyah, Awang; Nor, Azmawaty Mohamad; Ar Rasyid, Labib Siena; Rusdiawan, Afif; Sin departamento asociadoThis study aimed to assess gender differences and correlates of physical activity (PA) among children in East Java, Indonesia. An observational population-based cross-sectional study was conducted on a representative sample of children (n = 900, mean age 13.27±0.97) in East Java. The instrument used in this study was the Children’s Physical Activity Questionnaire, which measured the level of physical activity with high reliability (Kappa = 0.67–0.73) and moderate validity (r = 0.48). Boys reported higher engagement than girls in sport activities, school activities, and other activities, all differences being statistically significant (p = 0.000). Leisure time activities were slightly higher in boys, but this difference was not significant (p = 0.083). Overall CPAQ scores were also higher in boys (2.51 vs. 2.33, p = 0.000), indicating that boys generally had higher levels of physical activity than girls. In conclusion, girls are less likely than boys to engage in PA. Therefore, there is a need to consider the provision of a comprehensive multifaceted health behavior modification and interventions, such as targeted and regular physical education in schools.
